Chapter 7 - A boar mask ?

The soft sun sparkled through the curtains of the ramen restaurant. Everything was so calm, except of course your stomach, which was gurgling with hunger. Without making any noise, you put on a little jacket and got downstairs to join the seller. You ordered a light lunch so as not to get too stuffed before your training day. It was really good! An omelet with fine herbs, then a juice to accompany it all. A knock on the door caught your attention. The seller's daughter apologized for disturbing you before offering you an apple pie that looked delicious.

- " I wish you all of my luck ! I'm conviced you'll wipe them all when the day will come ! Lori shouted, her father discreetly coughed so that she would not get too excited and say any bad words. All of us laughed then I wished my goodbyes. 

" Aren't you going to say anything to your master before leaving ? " The seller named Yui asked. 

You replied them " Oh I almost fogot, he seemed so sleepy and I didn't want to disturb him".  You bowed in front of them thanking them for all the care then you climbed the stairs with small steps.  

When you opened the door, you saw Giyu hanging his sword on his belt. 

" Good morning ! I was planning to leave earlier to train and since you were still sleeping I was too embarrassed to disturb you." you shyly said making him  giggle. 

" Don't worry about it Y/N, wait for me I just need to go grab something before we leave" Giyu took a small sachet then put it back in his kimono. 

" What's this ? " you asked, but his answer was his finger which came to rest on his mouth. "It's for you I say no more" then he let me out of the room smiling.

The training was not as easy, but you managed to dodge and to learn some combat techniques. At first, to defend yourself you used a heavy branch, then over time Giyu announced you that it was time to give you a proper weapon. 

" I don't like fighting with a sword " you replied looking down. " I'm not confortable " you added.

He sighed and then you closed your eyes expecting to be yelled at. A small noise reopened your eyelids again and you noticed Giyu sitting on the ground, looking at you slightly with narrowed eyes. 

" Whaaaat?" you covered your face with your palms. 

"I really don't know about your case, is it possible to have an equal efficiency rate to kill demons without having a saber in possession? " Your master questioned himself.  

" I guess I have no other choice then... Teach me again, I'll do my best ! " you said. 

Giyu gave you one of his sabers for you to use on the selection day. Of course, this type of weapon was not your strong point, but over the course of time you were doing quite well. 

" I think I taught you everything for need for the day " He sat on the ground while offering you a bottle of water. You bowed and accepted. The water was refreshing, especially it was a necessary after a workout.

Looking around, you saw a guy with a boar head. You've seen a lot of weird stuff in your life, but THIS was brand new. He was not wearing a jacket or anything to cover his chest. Besides, he seemed to be yelling at a kid ...

You walked up to him, Giyu watched from a distance as usual. 

" HEY ! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO BE YELLING AT THIS POOR KID?!" You yelled at the weird guy with the mask. 

" SAME FOR YOU ! ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FIGHT ?!" He threw his fist towards your face then stopped a few centimeters away. 

You started looking intently at him straight into the mask to try to see if it was really his head. You couldn't help but approach your hands to check. " Sooo... What's your name ? " you asked trying to distract him so he wouldn't get too mad if you would of discover what's behind that boar head.
