Newt's POV

Chuck was showing the greenie around right now,

Taking him to the sleeping areas and what not,

I was standing in the gardens with Zart day dreaming...

I saw (Y/N) finish up for the day,

She dusted off her hands on her pants and re-tied the laces of her shoes,

The sun was setting over the Glade walls and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked in the sun light,

I was staring at her when I heard a grunt and someone hitting the ground I turned around,

Gally had tackled the new Bean to the ground,

"What were you thinking shuck face!?"

Gally screamed as the new guy scrambled to his feet,

I quickly ran over to the two, followed by other boys who wanted to break up the fight,

"What's his problem?"

"What's going on?"

"Calm done greenie!"

I said to him,

The green bean had his back to the maze entrance and I was worried he was gonna run,

"Why are you keeping me here!?"

We all were trying to calm the greenie down

When the doors started to close...

Once the doors had fully closed everyone relaxed and Alby said,

"That's why Greenie."

"Next time, I'm gonna let you run out there."

Gally said as he stalked away...

I was walking back with the greenie when I saw (Y/N) again, welcoming Minho back,

She saw me and waved, I smiled and waved back,

The new guy saw to,

"Is she like, your girlfriend?"

I blushed and coughed awkwardly,

"No! No no! Heh no. Uh (Y/N)'s really cool and I-"

I looked over at her, she was laughing at something Minho said and her smile made me smile,

"She was the first one to welcome me to the Glade, she helped me get used to this place. Without her I probably would have gone insane."

*well more then I already had...*

I thought to myself.

I smiled at my shoes,

"So you like her?"

The greenie asked,

"Well... ugh maybe? I don't know... I mean the last poor soul to flirt with her was Chris..."

I looked across the Glade where Chris, a 14 year old boy, was hammering a piece of wood, he was a builder,

"See when he came up in the box (Y/N) was sent to help him like she helped me, but the bloody shank decided to hit on her and let's just say one of the main reasons why the 'no hurting another Glader' rule is so forced is because she literally broke his nose when he went to kiss her."

The greenie laughed and I smiled remembering (Y/N) getting into trouble then back chatting Alby until he let her off the hook,

"She's tough she can take care of herself and let's just say after that incident I'm not too keen on getting my nose broke."
