26. A Way In

Newts POV

We had our plan all that was left to do was wait for Thomas and Gally to get back with Teresa,

I could tell (Y/N) was still not happy with me for brushing off the fact I had the flare.

But we needed to focus on saving Minho, and I know there is no cure for the flare, theres no point trying...

She sat with her arms crossed and watched as Brenda shuffled a deck of cards,

Finally Thomas and Gally arrived,

Gally shoved Teresa into a chair her hands weren't tied or anything,

Thomas came and stood beside me, only glancing slightly at the pissed and pained look on (Y/N) face.

Gally pulled the sack off of Teresa's head and she looked around with wide eyes the started to settle down,

"...Gally?.."

Teresa asked, brow furrowed.

Gally leaned back beside all of us his arms crossed to,

"Heres how this is gonna go."

He put a piece of paper on the table thne turned to Teresa,

"We're gonna ask you some questions, and your gonna tell us exactly what we need to know."

She looked around widely locking eyes with (Y/N) then Thomas,

"We'll start off simple-"

He pulled up a chair to sit closer to Teresa,

"Wheres Minho?"

He asked giving a casual shrug,

I could see (Y/N) biting her lip, her eyes were cold as she watched Teresa,

"You guys seriously dont think--"

She looked at Thomas-

"Dont look at him..."

(Y/N) said with a growl, stepping away from the desk to stand beside Gally who moved his chair so Teresa couldn't see Thomas,

"Why you looking at him? Look at me."

Gally finished,

Teresa flickered her eyes to (Y/N) who sneered,

"Hes not going to help you."

She said coldly,

She leaned over Gally's shoulder,

"Now we know you have Minho in the building... where?"

She asked,

Teresa glanced between Gally and (Y/N) then to her fingers,

"Hes in the holding with the others... sub level three..."

I leaned forward at the mention of others,

"How many others?"

I asked, how far would WICKED go?

How many more innocent children are they willing to hurt?

"...28..."

Teresa mumbled,

That sent everyone into a tizzy, no one said a word but the sighs and shaking of heads were enough to show that we pitied those poor kids.

"I can make that work."

Brenda said from the back of the room,

Teresa glanced at Brenda then back to Gally and (Y/N),

"No no you guys dont understand the whole level is restricted, you cant get in without a thumb print ID!"
