Jennie

I stare at the paintings curiously.

Why is everything about Lisa mysterious?

"I don't think I ever saw Lisa without paint on her hands and a dash in her blonde locks. It was as much a part of her as the smile she wore whenever I arrived at her doorstep".

"In moments we'd be in her kitchen, her putting a coffee pot on and me producing something from the bakers as if it were all a big unplanned surprise." An unfamiliar voice muttered, I looked up and saw a petite woman standing by the door with a smile.

I didn't talk, I just blinked as she came closer. "Lisa paints to forget about her worries. It's like art is her only escape". I nodded at her understandingly, "Are you close to her?". I finally asked.

She chuckles, "She's my best friend, if I don't know her, then I don't know myself". I looked back at the painting, "By the way, I'm Jisoo". She introduced herself, I half smiled at her. "And I'm Jennie".

"Yeah, I know that". She muttered under her breath, confusing me. Did she know me?

"You do know me?".

"Lisa talks about you". She grinned, "Good things I hope". Jisoo's eyes widened, "Haha, of course".

I raised my eyebrows, noticing that she was avoiding my eyes. "What did she say about me?"

"An annoying princess, hashtag brat who likes to have everything her way". A voice echoed from behind her.

The one and only Lisa was standing by the door, tilting her head with a cold look. She threw my phone to Jisoo, "Hey! That's my phone".

"Yeah sure Jan, I'm giving it to Jisoo. She will text your best friend. So, she doesn't notice and know that you're gone". She simply said.

"What're you going to text to her?". I ignored Lisa and asked her best friend. "That you're going to some farm, south in Houston Texas, with your family". Jisoo smirked and typed away on my phone.

"Why you text her, and not Lisa?".

Lisa blinked at me with a boring facial expression. "Because one; if I texted her, it's so easy for me to tell her that I kidnapped her annoying best friend, two; and that her death is right in the corner".

My eyes widened, "What?".

"Don't worry, she's just joking about the last part. I may assume". Jisoo tried to shrug the tension that bloomed between me and her best friend, but it was useless. I stood up, "If you like commenting about my death this much, why don't you just fucking kill me huh?". I dared her cold eyes.

Lisa growled, "I can if I want to".

"Are you not desiring to kill me yet?". Our eyes met - in daring eye contact. Mine were trying to break the ice that was around her heart. Meanwhile, she was trying to pull my heartstrings from each other.

"I told you I can if I wanted to princess". She tried to blow me off by walking away, but I made the biggest mistake by pulling her wrist. "Lisa don't..". Jisoo warned Lisa who raised her hand in the air. "Don't make the same mistake Lisa".

She was about to slap me..

"I told you that it was a mistake for you to follow me". Lisa whispered.

And it was my mistake, "I should've not followed a fucking psychopath like you". I admitted through the tears.

She left as I sat on the ground and hugged my knees. Jisoo gave me an apologetic look and left. I felt so weak under her gaze. Yet, she loves hurting me in every way.

But I was left with the new realization that hit me. I'm getting attached to her.
