The next day:
Jennie
I woke up from the deep sleep and rubbed my eyes. This was the best sleep I've ever had since the day that girl kidnapped me. And I couldn't feel any better. I didn't go to my house, in case Lisa looked for me. So, I just chose to stick to the idea of sleeping at Chaeyoung's house for now.
After brushing my teeth, and washing my face. I looked at the mirror.
Why did I feel like a piece of me is gone?
I shrugged the rational thoughts out of my head. And proceeded, with picking something from her closet. Something cozy and basic.
Blue jeans and a white shirt, with a grey jacket just to match the bright colors.
I went down the stairs and stopped when I was in the kitchen. My best friend was preparing breakfast, after the long night of me telling her what happened. "Hey, chipmunk".
"Hey, pussycat".
I rolled my eyes, and she motioned for me to follow her to the living room. Two plates of eggs and the smell of bread, made me lick my lips hungrily.
Sometimes I miss food.
"Why only two plates? Is that how you welcome guests?".
I stopped right in my tracks. My eyes widened and there she is. Sitting on the couch, with the newspapers in hand. Not even glancing at us, just reading and waiting for us to react.
"What're you doing here?". I asked, my voice loud enough for her to hear, as my face showed the little madness and shock.
Lisa dryly laughed and grinned, "I think I'm the one who's supposed to be asking this question". She looked away and focused on the lines of news in front of her.
"Can you give us a moment?". Rosè furrowed her eyes and waited for Lisa, who muttered; "Go ahead".
My best friend pulled me to the kitchen. And started to bite on her nails anxiously before looking down at me. "So basically, a murderer and an assassin is in my damn house?".
I nodded, "Yup".
"Please tell me not to panic". She looked back and forth, her gaze stopped once it met my confused one.
"Ah!-". I stopped Chaeyoung from screaming and told her to calm down. "It will be okay, please just relax".
She nodded and crossed her arms. "How do you expect me not to panic when there is clearly a human, wait. A superhuman who murders and kills people for a living in my living room?".
"It's not like she's going to kill you".
She nodded, "That's the thing. I know she won't kill me but I know for sure she will kill other people in case she wants to". The sarcastic tone that held my best friend's words made me nod.
"Want to see what type of trouble we can get into?". I asked.
"We're going to die, aren't we?". Her eyes widened. "It's still Wednesday, I know how to restrain myself". I admitted but she shrugged her head. "You absolutely do not. You got us into this, you get us out of this".
"How about I punch her and then we can go for a run?". Her eyes lit up but then disappointment was written on her dull face. "I don't think you will. You can't even hurt a fly".
"Are you sure I can't punch her in the face?".
"Yes". She murmured.
I sighed in defeat, "What if I break her nose a little?".
"Useless, because I'm sure she's trained to do this".
Rosè started to walk back and forth- staring at the ground while aimlessly speaking. "I didn't know the woman with bangs would be this dangerous. So behind the scenes, Barbie is like this? Damn evil creature".
"You can define the word dangerous when you're stuck with her". I heavily breathed, "But with all of the danger she puts me through, I feel safe with her". I whispered the last part to myself.
My best friend walked closer to me, "What was that?".
"Nothing".
"Good, or else I would've been smacking you". I rolled my eyes and leaned against the kitchen island. "So, what's the solution?".
"Come with me, and nothing bad will happen". My eyes widened as I looked back at the woman who was holding my gaze intensely.
"What makes you think I'm letting my best friend get kidnapped again by an assassin like you?".
"Oh, so you told her". Lisa's wicked smile embraced my heartstrings. "Fair enough, I won't kidnap her".
Chaeyoung sighed in relief.
"But, I'm kidnapping you both".
"What?!". Rosè and I said in shock, making Lisa's smile to herself.
She's crazy; deep inside I knew that there was no way to escaping her.
