"You must be Trina." I smiled and shook the hand of a tall woman with orangish brownish hair.

"Yes, you must be the beautiful Arianna! I remember seeing you awhile ago!" She smiled.

I rose an eyebrow, "Really?"

"Yup, you were Sandra's belly bump." She laughed. I joined with her.

"Oh, that makes sense. But nice meeting you Trina!" I told her.

She nodded, "Nice meeting you too, Arianna. You too Jaycee."

"How's your son, Trina?" I heard my mom asked. Jaycee and I looked up at each other.
Son?

Trina scoffed, "Still stubborn, but growing up so fast. He was angry with me today.."

"Why?"

"Because his father called me last night, and I didn't answer due to the fact that I was getting the number from that handsome bar tender last night." My mom and her began laughing.

"He was so young Trina!" My mom exclaimed.

Trina smiled whole heartily, " He's only four years older than Jare. Plus, he's the one who said age isn't anything but a number!"

"And how old are you? You're 37 and he's 22. Sorry to burst your dreams, but you're a pedophile." Mom said. Me and Jaycee started snickering.

"How awkward. Trina likes younger men.." I said.

Jaycee nodded, "Pedophile."

We bursted into laughter again.

"Mom, we're going to go across the street to JustFab." I told her. She nodded and shooed me away, clearly more into the conversation she was having with Trina.

We walked into my favorite show store, JustFab and started looking around. While doing so, my phone started vibrating in my back pocket. I pulled it out, only to see it was Dyl calling.

Jaycee peaked over my shoulder.

"You gotta remember he was drunk last night, Ari.." She said.

I looked at her after hitting ignore. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"He didn't know what he was doing! Cut him some slack.."

I stared at her with a dirty look. She never gave the answer I was looking for, she always gave me the truth. Which is why she's my best friend because she keeps it real and is trustworthy. She never wants to see me hurt.

"I know Ari, this is not what you want to hear. You don't have to hear me out, but at least hear Dyl out.. I'm sure he has a great explanation to this." She said. I stared at her with my bottom lip poked out. She grabbed my phone dialing Dylan back, and handing it to me.

"Fuck!" I whispered. "Jaycee!"

"Talk to him. Remember he's still your best friend. You don't want anything awkward between you two." With a stern look.

She was right. I smiled at her softly, she eyed me and walked away looking at some shoes.

"Hello? Arianna!" Dylan spoke.

I sighed, "Yeah."

"Hey, I wanted to talk to you."

"Talk." I said bluntly. I caught Jaycee crossing her arms at me. "Uh.. Well I mean.. What do you need to talk about?"

"Last night. I want to talk about in person. Where are you?" He asked.

My heart sunk, "Um, I'm at uh JustFab."

"Of course. Your favorite shoe store." He chuckled. I smiled at how he knew so well. "When you get done shopping, come and stop by..so we can talk."

"Yeah, yeah. Of course. I'm with Jaycee too, its okay if she comes too, right?"

"Yeah, Jared's here with his cousin so she'll have company to talk to while we walk."

I gagged at the sound of Jared's name. "Ugh, okay."

He chuckled, "Alright, see you then."

I hung up and looked at Jaycee who was already looking at me. "He wants to talk in person." I told her.

She looked her nails, "We're going to house then?"

I nodded. "Jared there?"

I slumped my shoulders and rolled my eyes. She knew it was a yes and she smiled cheered to herself.

"Dyl said he's there with his cousin so you'll have twice the fun."
