"Honey, Trina and Jared are moving in with us until-"
That's all I heard after I spaced out. Those words flipped my life upside down.
"No!" I yelled. Mom blinked and her nose flared.
"What do you mean no?" She questioned hardly. "We uh don't have any room." I choked out.
She crossed her arms, "Arianna, you do realize we have two extra rooms?"
I sighed defeated. Of course I have to live with the guy I hate and with his mother who is the total opposite. Wish he could be somewhat like her.
It was the next morning, and I was up early cleaning the house with Mom for Jared and Trina. They were coming today, so we had a lot to do.
I showered after cleaning and got dressed into black leggings and a white crop top tank that said Baws in red and had slits in the back. I let my hair air dry once again. I didn't mind it air drying since my hair cooperated with me daily, it gave me an edgy look which I always aimed for. I looked at the clock and it read noon.
"Ari! Come to the kitchen!" My mothers voice called. I went out of my room, going down the stairs, "Coming!"
When I walked into the kitchen, my mom eyed me, "I don't think that's very appropriate for our guests, honey."
"I'm not changing my wardrobe due to the fact that we're going to start having guests." I told her. She raised her eyebrows, mixing the spoon in the pot.
"We are going to have a guy living in this house now-" I cut her off. "Mom, please. If you came to bash me about my clothes, I don't want to hear it. Now what do you need?"
"Fine, whatever. I need you to watch the food while I shower. I didn't realize what time it was, and Trina and Jared will be on their way soon." She told me. I sighed again, and nodded.
I looked in the pot to see she was making pasta. I sniffed the aurora and smiled. My mom was a chef in the kitchen. I slid my way to the radio, since I had socks on and my floor was wooden and smooth. Turning it on, Fancy by Iggy blasted through the speakers. I slid back over to the pot and grabbed the spoon.
"I'm so fancy! You already know! I'm in the fast lane, from LA to Tokyo. I'm so fancy, can you taste this gold? Remember my name, bout to bloooooooow!" I sang. I ran in the dining, posing against the wall, "I said baby I do this, I thought that you knew this!"
I loved this song, and it got me hype where ever I was. When I am alone listening to music, I get into my own little world as you can tell .
I laughed at myself, and hopped onto the counter rapping Iggy's part, "Now tell me, who that, who that? That do that, do that? Put that paper over all, I thought you knew that, knew that. I be the A-R-I, put my name in bold. I been working, I'm up in here with some change to throw. Ow!" I hopped off the counter, singing the chorus to myself checking on the pasta. The noodles had become soft, so I added the sauce package that came with the noodles and stirred it up.
