It was Tuesday, and you know what that means..
No, it doesnt mean the club was going up on a Tuesday. As some of the younger teenagers that drool over Drakes new single, would say. Which I personally find quite catchy, but definitely not a favorite.
But, it meant it was time to go back to work. That's how fast these two days went. Nothing was happening.
Jared was still highly upset about the incident that happened Saturday, and he's been avoiding me since. You would think, How could he avoid you when you live in the same house? Well, its pretty easy if you really don't want to be around that person.
I walked into the kitchen, to get some food while he was in there. He walked out bumping my shoulder in the process. Its dinner time, we all sit at the table to eat together, not Jared. He ate upstairs. When we're all going to bed, to not here my daily Face Time with Jaycee I had with her Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night, he turns his music all the way up, so that it vibrated the walls. Usually, I didn't even see him until night time. He had his mom drop him off at Dylan's or Daniel's. All he did while he was here, was walk around with an hardened face but when he saw his mom or mine. He became happy. I only tried once to talk to him, and that was today before I was leaving for work.
It was 3:23 PM and I had to be at work at 4:00. Here I was about to try and make an effort to talk to Jared after two in a half days. He was in the living room watching ESPN and I came down the stairs. I stood by the small sofa as he sprawled across the big one. He didn't even glance my way once.
"Jared, I'm so sorry." I confessed. I saw him clench his jaw, yet he didn't say a word nor acknowledge I was there.
"Please speak to me. I'm trying to make an effort and apologize for my wrong doings. I never meant to hurt you, okay?"
When I say Jared was avoiding me to the fullest, I'm telling you he really was. Everything that I was saying was going out of one ear of his and out the other. Once did I ever see myself pleading to the guy, that I once said I hated, to talk to me.
"I say really dumb shit if you can't tell by now. And I just didn't mean it. I was in denial about the entire night, then I realize you were telling the truth, which made me feel so stupid. But I'm so sorry, Jared. Really. And if you can find it deep down somewhere in your caring heart of y-" I got cut off by him turning the TV as loud as it could go. He was blocking me out. The volume was on 88.
"Jared, please! Just listen to me!" I yelled over the TV, only to have him turn it up louder. If Mom was here, she'd scream to turn it down and he'd have no choice but to listen. But, she wasn't. Her and Trina were job searching, so I was fresh out of luck.
