"Put me down, put me down, put me down!" I screamed as all the blood rushed to my head. I was currently hanging upside down in Dylan's arms. All I told him was that he wasn't that strong as he claimed himself to be, then I get treated like this. Knowing my 5 ft. 6 frame was no use to his 6 ft. 1 frame, he picks me up and swings me behind his back. My arms and head dangling as I laugh.
"Hey Ms. Fisher." He greets my mom walking through the front door. She smiles, "Hi Dyl."
"Mom! Mom! Tell him to put me down and kick him out!" I yell. I watch her cover her face and speed walk.
"I see nothing..I see nothing." She says.
My mouth drops. You have got to be kidding me right now. "You're mom is awesome." Dyl says setting me back down to the floor, on my butt. I cross my arms and frown like a preschooler who just got told no. Dylan grins and picks me up effortlessly under my arms. I latch onto his neck and he wraps my legs around his waist.
"I got you something lovely for this lovely Sunday.." He whispers.
My heart flutters, "Already?"
"Yes, already!" He smiles. Thinking Dylan is about to pull out an expensive beautiful necklace, he does not. He pulls out a blueberry ring pop. I immediately start laughing, as his face turns slightly pink.
"I'm doing a purpose! Will you date me?"
This sooo corny, sooo cliché, but what's a life without those moments? Exactly. Its not a life.I blush to the extreme. Okay, maybe dreams do come true.
"Of course I'll date you after liking you since we were in Middle School."
Dylan threw his head back in laughter, and I smirked at him. "Hush. Don't ruin the moment." He cooed. I shook my head. Dating this goof ball was only going to get better.
After a fresh shower, I went downstairs to get dinner. Dylan, well I can say, my boyfriend had went home earlier. I always enjoyed spending my time with him only if it was for a couple hours.
"I made dinner tonight, sweetie!" Trina beamed from the kitchen in her blue scrubs. "Its my famous lasagna."
I sniffed the aurora, "Mmm, smells good Ms. Chieftan."
I heard the thuds of foot steps coming down the stairs, "Mom! I smelllll lasagna!" Jared sang running to the kitchen. He pasted me with a brief and slid his way to the plates.
Who sprinkled sugar in his tea pot today? A load of sugar, I should say.Not acknowledging me like always, he makes his plate, and progresses to the table. What? He's sitting at the table with us today? Something is definitely up. I make my plate and sit directly across from Jared to get a reaction from him.
Nothing. He just eats. I need some kind of reaction. Any kind. Any thing.I don't know why I wanted his attention..which is kind of dumb on my part when I got the full of attention of my own boyfriend.
When Trina and Mom sat down at the table and silence fell upon us, I took that as my time to shine, "Mom! Dylan and I made it official!" I exclaim. I look over to Jared with a quick glance. He's neutral. Completely neutral. No jaw clenching, no hardened face, glare, he didn't even tense, and here's the killer part.
