A WEEK LATER
It's Saturday, again already. Time has definitely flew by, and it was back to Arizona we go.
Its been a pretty great trip, to safely say.
After the night when Dylan and I had broken up, it seems like moments have been super awkward.
He hasn't talked to me. He has ignored my apology texts, and calls, so yeah. He's really upset with me, and I don't blame him. Afterwards though, the four of us, me, mom, Trina, and Jared went out doing the activities Moms boss set up for us. Like Zip Lining , which was totally fun. I also got talked in to Cliff Diving, which I noted I wouldn't ever do, but I lied. I did do it, and it was the most scariest heart dropping thing to man kind.
But it was extremely fun.
Jared and I only did it. The water was very clear and you could see perfectly through it. So it made me feel better. There were o sharks, no fish, no anything.
We went to an Zoo and Aquarium where we did see a Great White Shark, and a whole lot of animals I had never seen before.
Then Thursday night, we went on a Yaht ride. It was $20.00 to get on because it was Fiesta night. Many people tagged along of different ages to experience the Yaht ride, and beautiful lights with music.
Jared even met a few famous Baseball players. The only one I knew was Sammy Sosa. I would expect him to be there since he's from the Dominican Republic, although it was really cool.
We went to the huge Carnival they had which was only 30 minutes away from La Romana. They had a huge parade before it, and it was amazing. Just beautiful. There were multiple girls dressed in dazzling one pieces and gigantic sparkly wings. They had balloons and confetti fallings and dropping everywhere. Dancing, and instruments playing from left to right. It was a beautiful moment. Then to be able to wander around the Carnival at night with all the night ride's lights shining bright, it made me feel so calm and stress free.
May not sound right or whatever, but when I was at the Carnival with Jared. It felt like a date. Like am actual carnival date that the couples have in movies.
Even though we weren't trying to portray it in that way, it still felt like it.
We got on a lot of rides together. Played the games, one all sorts of stuffed animals. Ate cotton candy.
Even get on the Ferris Wheel.
Nothing happened though.
We just talked about life, like actual friends. We had an actual friend moment without the flirting or the sarcastic comments or anything of that.
I had enjoyed that night with him.
Carnival night were one of my favorite days out of all, and I think that's because Jared and I connected on a different friendly level than we ever have.
Truly makes me happy.
Currently, Jared and I were on the plane just hanging.
Well I was.
Jared was unfortunately taking selfies, like a female would be doing.
I roll my eyes at his feminism.
Thinking about leaving the DR, and most likely having to face Dylan soon or at school in the next two weeks was going to be hard. We hang around the same exact people, and knowing a few of our friends. They're going to tease us about it then just make everything uncomfortable.
