"It was a choice between dinner and flowers and I chose flowers because it was a dark time in my life and my room was hideous and my heart was broken and I needed something beautiful." - Everything Leads to You; Nina LaCour

It's been two weeks. Chaeyoung was running out of vases and patience.

The day after Chaeyoung found the roses she came to school to find a neat pile of cherry blossoms wrapped nicely ontop of her desk.

Chaeyoung freezes upon seeing such beautiful flowers and looks around the classroom. It was fairly early, and there was no sign of Lisa.

She pretty much tosses her book bag onto her seat as she hurriedly opens the similar looking envelope.

Day 2

These were a joy to find! Cherry blossoms are pretty aren't they? And they're everywhere in the winter. It was hard to find some I was actually allowed to harvest though.. but I did it!

Hope you like them <3

Chaeyoung mashes her lips. The branches were neatly trimmed and cut properly.

If Lisa harvested these then did she harvest the roses as well? Chaeyoung shakes her head. That would be insane.

She sighs.

It didn't matter. Although, she did keep the roses in a vase filled with water - they were dying quickly.

No matter what happened she was determined not to take these home. She holds the bouquet and puts it ontop of Lisa's table.

Her hand is hesitant but eventually she lets go.

And Chaeyoung thought that was the end of that.

If anything, she hadn't even foreseen half of the start of Lisa's grand scheme and pleads.

Every. Single. Time.

Lisa made sure the flowers ended up in Chaeyoung's hands, without fail.

The second day, Chaeyoung eventually let it pass (or so she'd tell herself). Then the third day came around -  Magnolias all bundled up and arranged perfectly, delivered to her by Jennie.

Chaeyoung had enough.

"Lisa!"

The girl slams her notebook shut and looks up at Chaeyoung. "Oh, hey!" Lisa smiles cheerfully. "You got the flowers!" She's excited.

Chaeyoung doesn't admit that her heart slightly melts at that but it does.

"How'd you even manage to get magnolias late winter?"

"It's got to be early spring by now." Lisa crosses her arms. "It's the start of March!" Chaeyoung sighs.

"I picked them with lots of love." She winks clichely. "Stop sending me flowers," Chaeyoung says as she puts down the flowers neatly.
