"I know the expression love bloomed is metaphorical, but in my heart in this moment, there is one badass flower, captured in time-lapse photography, going from bud to wild radiant blossom in ten seconds flat." - The Sky Is Everywhere; Jandy Nelson

Lisa was the furthest thing from confident.

Twelve minutes. She spoke to Chaeyoung's mom for twelve minutes and that's all it took.

"Park Chaeyoung!"

She's banging at her door. Nothing. Her throat is dry. Lisa just finished her planning session at her job. As soon as she could she bolted down the street and took a taxi straight to Chaeyoung's apartment.

"Chae," She sighs. Lisa wonders if she was absent or simply ignoring her. Her life was becoming more difficult by the second.

How the hell was she supposed to get Mingyu to fuck off? Her head hurts immensely as she feels a sharp pain at her wrist.

She sighs to herself quietly. Over the years, after retiring from kickboxing Lisa developed arthritis. It was hard to deal with however it wasn't very often that she would feel large amounts of pain.

"Chaeyoung," She sighs once more before slumping in front of the door. She feels like one of the main actors in a music video begging for the love of their life back.

The door creaks open. "What?" A groggy voice answers. Chaeyoung was sleeping. Lisa smiles, of course, she was sleeping.

"Let me in?" She requests and Chaeyoung takes a moment to process everything. "Why are you here?" She asks eventually and Lisa can only smile sweetly.

"I have questions." She says and Chaeyoung's throat goes dry. She opens the door, expecting some form of negative reaction but instead, she's met with a warm hug.

"You look so cute right now." Lisa nuzzles into the girl and Chaeyoung's eyes widen. She struggles against her arms, "Let me at least close the door." Her words are muffled.

Lisa uses the back of her foot to kick it close. "Take off your shoes too," Chaeyoung taps on her arm and Lisa reluctantly lets go.

She does as she's told and slowly untangles her shoe tie to get off her sneakers in a hurried manner. Chaeyoung scratches the back of her head tiredly still in her pajamas.

"It's eleven, did you just get off work?" Chaeyoung asks and Lisa nods her head as she fully enters the house. "My team manager was being an asshole about the dress patterns. She was the one who gave us the wrong instructions too honestly." She sighs and Chaeyoung smiles.

"Sounds like you had a rough day." She comments and Lisa nods. "It doesn't matter though, I was able to see your face. I feel less worried now." She says so calmly that Chaeyoung feels anxious about the situation.

"You're not angry?" She takes in a sharp breath. Chaeyoung felt lost and all over the place lately. "Of course not," Lisa says as she hops onto her couch.

"I have no reason to be." Lisa lays tiredly onto the pillows sprawled across the satin couch as Chaeyoung watches nervously. She doesn't understand the weird emotions swirling at her chest.
