Chaeyoung lazes around, her mom was not pleased with how reckless she was being as of the late. Not that Chaeyoung cared. She watches the little nightlight she has on her wall glow.

"So, your mom grounded ya?" Lisa laughs and Chaeyoung sighs. "It's not funny, this means that I can't spend the last day with you." She says on the phone.

"You do make a point, but we did spend the entire week literally glued to each other." Lisa sing songs cheerfully and Chaeyoung frowns. "So, you're saying this is a good opportunity?" She says clearly upset. Lisa takes a breath in nervously.

"O-Of course not, Chae. I'm just saying that we got to look at this in the positive light." Lisa nods her head curtly and Chaeyoung hops onto her bed. She groans at Lisa's cheesy liners. "There is no positive light if you couldn't already tell." Chaeyoung rolls her eyes, her phone stuck to her ear.

Lisa laughs and Chaeyoung can't help but smile to herself as well. She swallows the feeling in her throat. Lisa was really leaving tomorrow.

"I'll be leaving at one in the morning tomorrow. We have plenty of time to figure it out." She clicks her tongue and Chaeyoung feels a heaviness sink in her heart. "Mhm, I'm pretty tired," Chaeyoung responds.

"I promise that you will see me before I leave," Lisa says, her voice sweeter and Chaeyoung closes her eyes. "I better." Chaeyoung teases and she hears Lisa smile on the other end of the line.

"You really must be tired from yesterday. We slept around the whole day." Lisa says and Chaeyoung purses her lips. "We also cooked,"

"We? More like I cooked." Lisa says and Chaeyoung grins. "Same difference?" She questions and Lisa can't deny the snarkiness she has. "Sure, sure."

"Will you go to sleep now?" Lisa asks and Chaeyoung hums. "Maybe?" Chaeyoung says with her voice much more tired than earlier. "Good night, Chae," Lisa mutters. Chaeyoung nods back and despite not being able to see it, Lisa knows it's there.

Chaeyoung comfortably closes her eyes and feels her consciousness sink into sleep. Her breaths slow down and she finds her knocked out within ten minutes. Lisa still sits on her little office chair, phone pressed against her ear.

She had been listening to Chaeyoung sleep for about fifteen minutes at this point. Creepy? Possibly, but somehow this was what calmed Lisa.

Eventually, Lisa releases a deep breath before closing her eyes. Her neck leans backwards, "Good night." She whispers. "I love you." Lisa croaks before her hand moves up to the end call button.

Chaeyoung's eyes flutter open at the sound of Lisa's voice. Her lip trembles right before the call ends.

Lisa looks up at her ceiling for a moment. Her eyes blur and she clenches her fist. If Chaeyoung asked me to stay, would I? Her eyes glimmer for a moment.

Lisa stands from her seat and moves over to look at the little notes and photos scattered all over the desk. Chaeyoung had helped her remove it from the wall so she could take it over to Thailand tomorrow. A photo of her and Chaeyoung laughing catches her eye. Jisoo had taken it way back then.

Lisa smiles, her eyes turning into little half crescents. She picks up the polaroid and feels a warmth grow at her chest.

If Chaeyoung asked her to stay, she would. Lisa decides. If Chaeyoung asked her to come back a couple of days later, she would. Lisa feels her eyes tear up slightly. She sighs at the way she can't get over it.
