Taehyun slammed his hand down on his desk, a happy smile on his face as the game in front of him told him that he was the winner once more.

"He shoots he scores! The Black Knight does it again!" He cheered, pushing his chair back and standing up, punching the air with his fists a few times in victory.

While doing a little dance he accidentally knocked something over, the object rolling off his desk and onto the floor. Just then he heard the faint sounds of the front door being closed from being the cups of his wireless headphones and he quickly grabbed the object off the ground, placing it back in its place. He sat down on his chair quickly and ripped the headphones away from his ears, letting them hang around his neck instead and he reached to switch the screen of his computer to his homework assignment, pretending he had been doing that instead of playing games al the time.

"Taehyun?!" He heard his older brother yell from the hall as he climbed up the stairs. He sighed as he entered the bedroom, dropping his bag and walking straight to the closed curtains, a scowl on his face.

"When is this gonna get cleaned up?" He asked, mentioning to the room as he pulled the curtains open to let the sunlight in. Taehyun squinted his eyes at the bright light and lifted his arm to block it. "You know people are coming to see the house tomorrow." He continued.

"I'm doing homework, Hyung." Taehyun replied, turning his chair to look at his brother as he walked around his room while frowning at the mess.

"Homework?" He asked. Taehyun nodded his head in response, eyes big and as innocent as he could make them. "You think I'm dense?" He asked him then, reaching a hand out and pressing two buttons of the keyboard, switching the screen to the game again.

"No I'm working on.. that-"

"Homework." His brother stated, raising an eyebrow. Taehyun looked up with the most innocent face he could muster. "I've never seen that before in my life."

"What? Me operating a computer?" The older snickered as he switched the monitor to his so-called homework again. Taehyun pouted and followed his brother's movements with his eyes.

"I don't want to pressure you, honestly, but you have to get your work at school done." His brother said as he sat down on the bed. "Because at this point we can't afford college. You have to get a scholarship somehow."

Taehyun looked up at him with big eyes, his lips parting. "Is nothing selling?" He asked. His brother was one of the best real estate managers he knew - not that he knew many though - and he couldn't believe he couldn't get anything sold. He was a smooth talker in the game, and people always fell for his chamrs and good looks. But he guessed not anymore.

"Six months." The older sighed, big shoulders hanging. "No house or apartment and I don't know long I can-"

"Mr.Kim says there's a reason why things happen-" Taehyun cut his brother off, but got interrupted just as quickly.

"Yeah, but Mr.Kim isn't having his home being sold in 90 days." He snapped, standing up and making the bed a little. Taehyun just looked at the older man and didn't say anything else, guilt blooming in his veins.

Seeing that his brother sighed. "I'm sorry." He softly said. "I know he's your friend, and it's very nice of him to give you a job and everything but... we don't need philosophy, we need a miracle."

A short silence fell over the both of them, neither knowing what to say next. His brother shook his head and reached a hand up to brush his hair to the side. "How are things with Leedo and those other guys?" He asked, changing the topic.

"That's alright." Taehyun replied, nodding softly. His brother raised an eyebrow, studying his face for any sign of untruth. "No more bullying?"

"No, Hyung." He said, shaking his head. The older smiled softly and looked down at his lap for a brief second before looking up. He sighed deeply and pouted a little. "I love you."

Taehyun winked. "I love you too Jin." He answered, smiling back at him. His brother stood up and leant forward, smacking the back of his head. "Manners." He scolded, the lack of formalities not going unnoticed. It was only halfheartedly and Taehyun chuckled as Seokjin cupped his face and pressed a kiss to his forehead before ruffling his hair and turning away to grab the bag he had been carrying.

"No more gaming!" He scolded lightly. "Not until your homework is finished anyway."

"Is that a threat?" Taehyun snickered, watching as Seokjin walked towards the door. Without turning around he replied. "Yup!" And then he left the room, probably to get started on dinner.

Taehyun smiled and turned back to his computer, still showing the blank page of his essay. He stared at it for a few seconds before pouting his lips and reaching his hand out to the keyboard, pressing the same two buttons Seokjin had and watching as the screen switched to the game again.

It still showed the familiar bold letters of victory, his character dressed in black armor trusting his thick sword up. He held his helmet under his arms and his brown coloured hair bounced at the movements.

"I am Octoman!" The sudden voice of his best friend booming through the speakers dragged him out of his thoughts, and he focused his gaze on the small screen in the corner which showed the call he was in, the boy's face on display.

He had blue dyed hair, bangs covering his forehead but parted in the middle. His almond shaped eyes were squinted to crescents, being pushed up by his full cheeks as he smiled widely, showing off his perfectly white teeth.

"Yeonjun." Taehyun smiled at his friend, watching him make funny movements as he laughed darkly. The character of his friend was now displayed on the screen as well, showing a custom made character with four tentacles coming from behind his back, each of them holding a weapon.

"Yeonjun you idiot." Taehyun chuckled. "An octopus has eight arms, not six!"

Yeonjun immediately stopped his movements, his smile faltering and turning into a small pout. He sighed deeply at his friend's remark and rolled his eyes. "Whatever dude."
