I'll mostly use fanart for the pictures from now on. All credits to the ones that made them! I just feel like fanart has more options which go with the story than just random pics from google.

With his eyebrows furrowed and hands shaking Taehyun set foot on the steps of the ladder. He knew that what he was doing right now was crazy, it just wasn't possible. But yet there he was, doing the impossible. Stepping into a basket and onto a ladder to chase after a prince to try and save him was crazy. He didn't even know the blonde! But he couldn't.. not do it. He couldn't let the prince he grew so fond of just be taken away from him, even if he didn't know him that well. He just couldn't bear that.

The old ladder creaked in protest as he let his weight drop down onto a step and Taehyun looked up, frowning when he saw his room, right out there. He could just turn back around. Could climb up the ladder and simply continue with his life, forgetting all about this. He could, but he wouldn't. Even if his muscles hurt more than they had ever done, he didn't regret going after the prince. Scared and nervous? Yes. Regretful? Absolutely not.

Suddenly one of the steps broke under his weight - why didn't it break with one of the much larger soldiers? - and Taehyun fell down. He shrieked in fear as he soared through the space of the basket, which was actually really large from the inside, despite being rather small. A Chinese dragon came into view beneath him and it opened its mouth, spitting a great amount of fire at him. Taehyun cowered in fear and yelled as he shielded his face from the flames.

He didn't let up with his yelling until he was thrown onto a solid floor, the flames and roars of the dragon suddenly not there anymore. He coughed a few times and looked up from the ground, seeing the basket in pieces next to him. He rolled over on his back and closed his eyes, taking a few deep breaths to calm down. But before he could really take a moment for himself he was roughly yanked up by the collar of his shirt.

"I told you not to let him out of your sight!" Warrior Yoongi told him, voice deep and angry and he held his shirt in his clenched fists. "You're worthless." He spat and pushed him back, walking away.

Taehyun stumbled a bit, sighing and he waved his hands in the air as if giving up. "I'm not a warrior or some sort of bodyguard!"  He replied.  "What did you expect?"

"I was expecting more." Yoongi hissed, turning back and looking at him with dark eyes, his jaw set. His attire from when he brought the prince to Taehyun that night was now slightly different. It was still an all black outfit but this time he had some sort of cloak wrapped around him, clipped together on one of his shoulders with a big pin. It was not that long but still reached his knees and his arms were metal clad, the piece of armour shining whenever the light hit it. The pants he wore were ripped on one side where the fabric covered his thigh, and it looked like the damage had been done by some sort of sword because the skin there was red and irritated.

"Well how about this for more-" Taehyun replied, his face turning in a scowl because, who did the warrior think he was, insulting him like this?  "When I saw he was taken by those... whatever they were I jumped right after him! And besides that, when we left my room I was right behind them, they should be here!"  He said, looking around.

"Well they're not." Yoongi replied, sighing deeply and shaking his head.

"Then where are they-"

"I don't know!" Yoongi snapped, glaring at boy. "Now shut up and calm your ass down, you're giving me a headache." He said as he reached an arm up, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers and squeezing his eyes shut for a moment.

"How can you not know? I was right behind him!" Taehyun yelled back with wide eyes. His eyebrows were curled up in worry, his hands clasped to fists in anger towards himself and out of frustration about the whole situation. If only he would've jumped in right after them and hadn't hesitated for that short moment, maybe then he would know where they went now.
