The city was quiet apart from the cars rolling down the solid concrete of the highways a few miles away. The sound of the birds chirping was evident in the air and the wind was softly blowing, rustling the leaves of the trees but not doing anything real surprising. It was a nice day out, the sun shining down at the ground and warming the air around the brunette boy.

He inhaled deeply, taking in the fresh air as he walked onto the path of the track. He lifted his helmet and pulled it over his head, fastening the strap under his chin. He reached for the handles of his bike and set his foot down on the pedal. He sighed and looked out over the track.

It was just a field of sand, really, some patches of grass scattered over the ground on the places the bikes didn't usually rode. The sand was placed in a way that created hills and slopes. He loved to come here every once in a while before work to just drive out his stress and clearing his mind from any thoughts.

Taehyun pursed his lips and pushed forwards, letting the bike roll down the slope he was standing on. His jacket swayed behind him in the wind as he quickly moved his legs, cycling faster as he took some small hills. After some time he also steered the bike towards some higher ones, jumping up them with a bit of difficulty.

He didn't do it to become good at it, really. He just liked to do it, enjoyed doing it. Like Mr.Kim always said, it's okay if you're not good at something, even if it's your hobby. You don't have to become the best in it to take joy in it, you're not a product.

Taehyun smiled as he succeeded in one of the higher jumps, but his smile quickly faltered when he saw a group of boys driving up the track. They immediately went for the higher jumps, easily taking them and cycling up the hills. Two of them stopped to watch as the other two continued circling him.

The oldest one cooed. "Look who's here!" He said as he lifted his hands, one foot on the ground as he sat on his red bike. He patted the guy next to him on the back, the boy nodding and looking back at Taehyun. "Watch this!" He said, cycling down at a fast pace.

"Oh no." Taehyun muttered under his breath, slowing his pace down and eventually stopping the bike, setting a foot down on the ground for balance. The older boys all yelled and cheered as they cycled down towards the slopes, taking them with ease.

"We're gonna ride this track to death!" One of them yelled. "How you like that, huh?" He asked him as another one made a high jump with his bike, turning the handlebar around before landing on the ground.

They were all showing off and Taehyun started to feel insecure now he watched them do their tricks. He didn't strive to be as good as them but it sure would be nice if he was able to do a bit more than he currently could, just to feel like he could do something too and he wasn't worthless.

"Run away Tae!" Leedo yelled then, passing by him and taking another slope.

"Get out of here!" Xion told him, following the other's actions.

Taehyun sighed, starting to cycle again. He wanted to get out of here and just go to work now, not really enjoying driving anymore. He pushed forwards over the little hills on his path and had his eyes set on the exit. But before he could reach it two of the older guys appeared in his way, Seoho passing him without a word but the other one...

"Get out of the way!" Taehyun yelled, but it was too late. He bumped his wheel against the red bike, causing the bike to stop abruptly and sending the guy on top of it flying to the ground. The brunette shrieked and stumbled off his bike, quickly pushing himself back to his feet.
