(A/N: In this chapter I will introduce another character of mine. This is not a main character but she will stay in the story for quite some time, so better get used to her ;P)

We've been running for what feels like hours now. I've been watching Gon and Killua chat and Kurapika and Leorio bicker. They are all interesting people in their own way.

Suddenly a girl walks up to her. She has long, blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Her skin is pale and she is slightly taller than me. She has a beautiful figure and wears fancy, just a bit too revealing, clothes.

I immediately recognise her. She has been at our home with her family before. Mandy Lavange. She also comes from an assassin family and for some time it looked like our families would be working together. In the end my stupid little brother, Killua, insulted them and we remained rivals.

"Hello, there. My name is Mandy! Who are you?" she asks in a cheery voice.

Killua looks up and both glare at each other as their eyes cross.

"Killua, do you know her?" Gon asks, looking from Killua to Mandy and back.

"It's nothing. We've just been to school together and weren't the best of friends," Killua lies.

I wonder if he knows he's screwed when Mandy decides not to go with it. I wouldn't know what reason she would possibly have to keep her identity a secret. Unless she's out for an assassination. She is a hitwoman, she seduces her target to kill them after. It's effective but cruel. I must admit that my mother has trained me for this type of assassination, though I barely use it.

"Yes, school." What is she out for?

"My name is Gon," Gon happily introduces himself. "These are Kurapika, Myne and Leorio." He points at everyone when introducing them.

I wave at the girl while giving her a smile.

"Do you think there will ever be an end to this hallway?" she asks. "I'm getting kind of tired."

Liar. She is a trained assassin. If she gets tired from something this simple, she has not the right to call herself an assassin.

"I believe I can see the end," Kurapika remarks.

I look up and to my surprise I can see that he's right. A little spot of light is hinting to the end of the hallway.

"Finally!" Leorio huffs. "My legs can't carry me any further!"

"But how will you do the rest of the exam if you can't keep this up?" Gon asks.

"And there is no guarantee that we won't keep on running outside," Killua adds.

"Your legs will have to carry you a lot further," Kurapika ends.

Leorio moods seem to go down with every word the three boys says, until he seems too desperate.

"Cheer up, we'll help you if it gets too rough," I try keeping him up.

He just nods while staring at the ground.

"We're getting closer, I can actually see the exit," Mandy says.

After a few more minutes of running we are finally outside and the examinator has stopped running. We all quickly take our time to catch our breath as the door closes behind us.

One man is laying on the ground, right behind the door. He screams for us to wait but he's cut off by the closing door. It is cruel but the exam is known for this.

"We will continue through the forest," the examinator says. He wants to open his mouth again but is cut off by another voice.

"Don't listen to him! He's a fake. He is one of the creatures hiding in the forest. He will lead you to your death!" An exact copy of the man is standing in front of us.

I look at both, but I can not find any evidence of who is the real one.

Suddenly two playing cards fly through the sky, one at every examinator. The one who has been with us the entire time catches it without a problem, the other gets hit in his chest. The second one falls to the ground and turns into a monkey-like creature.

I turn around to see who threw the cards and see the man who Illumi has been with this entire time. The man who reminds me of a clown.

"You know it is forbidden to attack an examinator, right?" the examinator asks the guy.

"Yes. But I also knew that a hunter would be able to catch it," he responds in a screechy voice.

"I'll let it slip for now but if you're hostile to an examinator again, I will have to disqualify you," the examinator explains in a calm voice. After this, he continues his explanation from before. "As I was saying; we will continue the exam through this woods. Please stay close, there are more dangerous creatures hiding within these woods."
