"Yes, you definitely screwed up."
Those aren't the words I was hoping to hear. Though I also don't know what I was hoping to hear. Perhaps I was hoping for him to comfort me, maybe even give me a hug. I don't want to be left alone after all of this, yet I can't blame him if he wants to leave me.
"I... I'm sorry." The first time I've honestly apologised. I don't even know why it suddenly seems so important to do. Saying sorry won't fix a screw-up after all.
"We're going after Killua once we've picked up our Hunter licenses. Please help us to get him back. Illumi and Hisoka trust you, if you go with them..."
"No!" I quickly cover my mouth. Hearing to go with them again, being left alone with them again. Illumi isn't a problem, Hisoka is, and Illumi won't help me stand up against Hisoka. "I'm... I'm sorry. I'm just so uncomfortable..."
"What happened between you and Hisoka?" Kurapika suddenly asks, looking at me. He seems a little bit concerned, but I don't know if it is because he distrusts me or because he really worries about me.
"I had promised... I'd introduce him to my parents... When my entire plan here failed, I figured it was the only thing left to do to make them proud. To introduce him to my parents as my boyfriend... But... He's so... so... It's horrible." I shouldn't lie to Kurapika figuring the situation I'm in now. If I lie now, and he finds out, I'll lose his entire trust.
"So you said you'd introduce him to your parents as your boyfriend? And you didn't realise his entire personality?" Kurapika asks, looking at me. He seems rather disappointment at this moment. I guess he doesn't understand.
"I did. Of course I did... It's just... He has connections which may help our family and I thought my parents would be very pleased. So I figured it didn't matter, after all I'd have to marry someone later who'd help them. This way I would still have some kind of choice, even though it might have been the worst one."
"How would Illumi and Hisoka respond if you didn't go with them?"
I look up at Kurapika and start thinking. There are multiple options, and multiple things I can tell them. It would totally depend on the reason after all.
"If I say I join because I regained your trust and I'll watch you, I think they'll let me go," I answer, looking up at him.
"Then how about you do so and help us retrieve Killua. Make up what you screwed up and we'll be even again, okay?" He holds out his hand, smiling ever so slightly. I don't know why but a wave of warmth floods over me, as tears well up into my eyes.
"R-Really? You'll forgive me?" Only the thought makes me overflow with joy. I'll be able to regain my friends.
"Forgiving isn't forgetting. Don't screw up again."
I nod look up to him, blinking away the tears clouding my eyes. "Thank you so much."

Ten minutes later I'm standing in front of Illumi and Hisoka. The two of them seem rather smug about their plan succeeding and are now planning their trip back to Zoldyck mansion.
"I won't be going with you, plan a two-men trip," I say when arriving. I've made sure to clean myself up, rest my hands in my waist and look at them. Even though I'm shorter than the two of them, I won't look up to them. I'll stay on a little distance, looking at them in an as-straigh-as-possible line.
"How do you mean? You should come to see mom and dad about Hisoka," Illumi says, looking at me.
"You introduce him for me." I play around a little with my black hair. I loved my time as Myne, but I missed my own appearance a lot. "I'm going with Kurapika, Leorio and Gon. I managed to have them forgive me. Wouldn't it be way more interesting if mom and dad met Killua's friends and the last member of the Kurta clan. I can lead them right into a cell."
The two of them look at each other for a moment, obviously doubting if it's a good idea to have me leave their side.
"I guess the little orange will come back either way~. They won't leave killua alone," Hisoka remarks, looking down at Illumi. "I don't mind."
"Then I'll have no objections as well. I'll tell mom and dad that you'll be a little later than we are, and that you'll be bringing over some special guests."
Special guests, it's a term we use frequently in our house. Though instead of treating them better, they're usually a target for assassination. There aren't many outsiders who got out of our house unharmed.
"Thank you, then I'll be off."
"Don't wander off~" Hisoka smirks and looks at me as I turn around.
I walk away, thinking about what he meant. If it was literally, he might have been afraid I would get late and my parents frustrated. If it weren't... Then we'll have a greater problem than getting Killua back.
