Leila struggled to fall asleep. But she was desperate to. She needed to see if this was real. I didn't dream about this last night. So is this even real now? Is it all just a dream? She stared to worry and chewed her fingernails anxiously. She looked over at Seth and asked, "Seth?"
"Yeah?" He looked over at her trying to look calm.
"Is this real? I feel like I might be dreaming."
"It's real. Why do you think its not?" He questioned her gently.
"Well I've dreamed everything about you guys. The new born attack on the Cullens, Renesmee's birth, I've seen it all. But I never saw this in the dream."
Seth nodded and kept listening as she went on. His eyes were thoughtful. He glanced at her a few times as he spoke.
"I'm just afraid that I'll wake up and this won't be real." She concluded.
"But it is real Leila. You're here." He smiled and looked at her. "It's real."
Leila smiled back at Seth, only for a second though because her ears started turning red again. I wonder what Seth has to tell me once we get to the hotel. Is it about how they knew to find me? She thought deeply and stared blankly at the seat in front of her. If she payed attention she could Seth still glancing at her every once in a while. She smiled to herself. It was so sweet.
Leila yawned then decided she'd try sleep again. She grabbed the blanket from under her seat, rested her head back and closed her eyes. Trying to block the noise out from the plane was impossible. But she wanted to sleep so she kept trying. As they got higher into the sky the plane started to get colder. Leila shivered, instantly regretting not wearing longer clothes.
Seth P.O.V
Leila was shivering. Seth grew concerned and unsure of what to do. Should I offer for her to sit with me? But that's just weird. She might feel awkward. But I can keep her warm. The blankets on the plane are practically sheets. She'd need 50. I have to offer. He leaned out and nudged her gently on the shoulder. She grabbed his hand and smiled. It probably felt nice on her cold skin. She looked at him. "I-I noticed you were cold. You can sit with me if you like. The seat space is decent so you won't be too squished. I mean if you want to. Or I can get you more blankets."
Leila didn't reply. She just smiled, stood up and sat on Seth's lap. She really was freezing. Seth put a hand on her shoulder and guided her to rest her head on his chest. She did so gratefully and sighed softly before closing her eyes again. Seth blushed furiously. He was so in love with her. She was the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. He grabbed his blanket and put it over them both. Hopefully it would trap some of his heat so she could warm up faster.
After half an hour passed she was asleep. She snored softly. It was the most adorable thing ever. Seth admired her as she slept. She had gorgeous freckles, somehow splattered in a way that was so unbalanced, yet still looked perfect across her tan skin. Her hair was messy yet neat in the bun she'd tied up so quickly. How is this possible? He thought to himself. But then again, he didn't really care how. She was real, perfect, and would hopefully be his one day.
