Leila's P.O.V
Leila and Seth both fell asleep and were asleep for the first 9 hours of the plane flight in total.
Leila was pleased as a dream began to take place in her mind. She was standing in a forest. After a short while she managed to recognise it as the one in Forks. It was dark and the moon was hidden behind the trees. She shivered. It was freezing there. Leila looked around wondering why she was there in the first place. All alone. Suddenly a sharp pain arose in her chest making it difficult to breathe. She fell to the ground as it grew and became excruciating. She cried out for help but she was alone. The pain went on for what seemed like hours, then a ripping feeling spread across her body and before she could see what happened she awoke.
Leila jolted awake and looked at Seth. He woke as soon as she jumped. "Are you okay? What happened?" Leila was drenched with sweat even though she was cold in her dream. She wiped her face then replied,
"I- I just had a weird dream. I'll tell you later. At the hotel." She forced a smile then got up and sat at her seat. The flight attendants started coming around with food. They had missed the earlier meal and Leila realised how starving she was as soon as she smelt the food. It was potatoes with sausages and veggies, with some bread and any desired drink. She pulled out her table and waited until the attendant came over.
"What drink can I get for you today?" The flight attendant asked.
"I'll have lemonade if that's okay." Leila asked and smiled.
"Sure thing." They gave her the food then poured a can of lemonade into a glass.
"Thank you."
The attendant nodded, "You're quite welcome. Let us know if there's anything else we can get for you."
Seth's P.O.V
Seth watched as Leila got served. He was worried about her. What was the dream she had? Is she okay? What if I was in it? What if I was bad and now she's afraid of me?
"Can I get anything for you today sir?" The attendant asked.
Seth shook his head, still worrying about Leila.
"You sure?"
"Um.. actually can I just have some water?" He took the blanket off himself as he was feeling quite hot, even though it didn't do much anyway.
The attendant nodded and poured him a glass. "Here you are."
"Thanks." He took the glass and sipped the water as the attendant walked off. He wasn't hungry at all. Well maybe he was, but his stomach was churning, like an ocean on a stormy day, so he didn't think he'd be able to keep the food down. He put the glass carefully on his table then took the barrier down and woke Jacob up. "Jake." He nudged him. "They're serving food now."
Jacob woke up and stood up. He stretched his legs which were cramping after sitting for so long. He sat back down and said, "Thanks. I'm starving." He looked at Seth who was looking quite pale. "Seth are you okay? Are you going to be sick? Gonna throw up?"
Seth shook his head. "I'll be okay Jake. It's nothing." He took a sip of his water again as he felt vomit threaten to arise.
Jacob nodded then the fight attendant reached him and he spoke asking what he'd like. Seth sighed in relief and sat back in his chair. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply but the smell of the food made him feel even more sick. Seth stood up and walked fairly quickly to the bathroom, nearly falling on the way due to the slight turbulence. Thankfully it wasn't occupied. He went in, locked the door, then leaned over the toilet and threw up.
Tears sprang to his eyes. He wished to be home. He flushed the toiled and wiped his eyes on his sleeve. I can't let Leila see me like this. Or Jake. He sighed. Took a deep breath to try compose himself, which again, was a terrible idea. Even worse now because the smell of his vomit lingered in the air. He put a hand over his mouth to stop himself throwing up again. He stood there for a few moments to make sure he wouldn't throw up when he went back out. He wished he didn't need to breathe like the vampires. Then he wouldn't have to smell the food. But then again, they probably don't vomit.
He walked out of the bathroom and to his seat. Jacob watched him as he did. Seth drank some more water and closed his eyes. Hoping, pleading he could somehow sleep for the rest of the way.
