Arrival

Seth's P.O.V

Seth and Leila waited in the car. After a little while Jacob came back out with their food. He passed Seth's back to him and Leila's to her. He left his in the back and put it on the glove box then started driving. Leila ate some of her burger. "You going to eat Jake?" 

"Yeah. It's just busy here so I'm trying to concentrate."

"Here." Leila grabbed some of his chips and fed them to him.

Seth ate his burger and watched wishing he was Jacob in that moment. Oh shut up Seth. He sighed and looked out the side window as he ate. They were getting closer. He zoned out for a bit then heard Leila ask, "Will I be about to see you two as wolves one day? It's just so cool. I would love to see it in person."

Seth looked at her. "We can show you. When we get there."

Leila looked back. "Really?" She smiled. "Can I stroke you guys when you do? Or is that weird?" She laughed that adorable laugh.

Seth smiled. "You can if you like. Whatever makes you happy Leila."

"Thank you both so much. I'm kind of annoying sometimes." She smiled and sipped her drink.

"Not as annoying as me. I threw up so many times. Then we had to delay our-" Seth spoke then Leila cut him off.

"Do not put yourself down for being sick."

"Well you shouldn't either."

"I-I know I have anxiety alright. I don't want to call it being 'sick' though. That makes me feel bad so don't say it." She scolded him.

"Fine. Sorry okay. I didn't know you'd get so offended." Seth didn't feel hungry anymore so he put his food down. I'm such an idiot.

"Fine!" Leila raised her voice the put her food down too and looked out the window. 

Jacob kept quiet. Not wanting to make things worse. They drove in silence for the next half an hour then Jacob pulled over on the side of the road and finally broke the silence. "Leila get in the back. You two need to apologise. We are 10 minutes away from the destination. I need you two to be happy okay. So Leila. Get in the back and sort things out together. Now."

Leila got out of the car and hopped in the back beside Seth. In the middle seat. Then Jacob started driving again. Seth looked at Leila. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that it was stupid. Extremely stupid. I mean I should have rephrased it. I just don't want you to put yourself down for having anxiety. That doesn't make you weak. If anything it makes you stronger because you're pushing yourself so much to do this and it's incredible. You are absolutely amazing and so strong. Just believe that. And if you don't.. I'll remind you every single day."

Leila smiled and looked at Seth. "Thank you. And I don't want you to be afraid for showing 'weakness'. Because you are not weak for having emotions. You can be sick. Or upset. I like that about you. So never stop." She hugged him.

Jacob smiled. He was in slight disbelief that his idea actually worked. 10 minutes past. "Hey Leila," he said, "Look out your window." 

She looked out and as she did saw a sign that read, "The City of Forks Welcomes You". She turned to Seth. "No way!" Tears sprung to her eyes. "No way. This is Forks. The actual Forks. Where you guys live. And this is one of the Cullen's cars. You liar Jacob." She laughed. "I am so happy. I could kiss you guys right now! Well.. not Jacob he's got a girlfriend." She looked at Seth and her face turned red.

Seth's heart raced. I can kiss her right now. I can kiss her right now. Do it. Come on. He leaned in closer to her and looked at her lips. They looked so soft. Leila looked into Seth's eyes as she leaned in too.

Suddenly as they passed the cafe something was thrown at the car and it smashed the back window.
