A Steady Fall of Rain

A steady rain started to fall outside. It was peaceful. Leila yawned. She was ready for bed too. She finished her second piece of pizza. "Goodnight Jacob." She smiled at him then walked to her bed and laid down. She closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep.

Jacob's P.O.V

Jacob looked over at Seth and Leila who were both fast asleep. He was worried because he hadn't told the others about Leila. He knew he'd get in trouble for sure. But some of them would take his side. Renesmee, Leah, Quil, Embry. This calmed him down a bit and he finished off the last of the pizza. He looked out the window which was covered in rain. Light shone through it so he got up and closed the curtains then through the pizza box in the bin and turned the other lights off. Tomorrow afternoon they would arrive at the destination. 

Jacob sat on the last bed which was against the wall. Light shone through a crack in the curtains directly on his face. He sighed then laid down and stared at the ceiling. Thinking about the day they'd had. Then he smiled as he thought about how Seth imprinted on Leila. It was cute. And most of the others had imprinted already. He was one of the last. 

Leila would surely be thrilled with Seth loving her. She seemed like the kind of girl who needed someone like Seth. He was loyal, protective, loving, and kind. Everything she would need. Jacob frowned slightly. He missed Renesmee. She was his and it was scary leaving her for the short trip. He hoped she was okay. But of course she would be. She was incredible. His heart throbbed as he longed to be with her. Holding her in his arms.

After a while he drifted off to sleep as well. The rain kept falling throughout the night.
