The Second Fight

Jacob's P.O.V

The next morning Jacob woke up early. The sun was still down but it was going to rise soon. He decided that it was best to leave early. He opened the curtains then nudged Leila to wake her. She opened her eyes and smiled slightly. She was still half asleep. "Morning Leila." Jacob spoke softly. "We're going to head off early." 

"Okay. I'm just having a shower first." She replied then grabbed her suitcase and got some clothes to wear for the day. She walked to the bathroom and closed the door. A little while later the shower turned on. 

Jacob walked to Seth's bed and shook him awake. "Seth. Wake up. We're getting an early flight. So we can arrive at Forks before the sun goes down."

Seth nodded and got up. "Where's Leila?"

"Bathroom."

"Oh. Right. Have you told anyone else we're bringing her yet? Sam's going to get so mad at us." Seth said. His voice cracked. He was worried.

"I haven't told anyone. It's best you both just explain about the dreams when we get there. You're both connected somehow. Maybe someone will know why. And she already knew about us and the Cullen's. They can't get mad at us for bringing her. If they don't believe us we'll get Edward to read her mind. Just don't worry Seth. It'll all be fine." Jacob reassured Seth.

"How am I supposed to tell her I like her. I love her. My heart races every time I hear her name. She's too good for me. I don't deserve her." Seth looked down at the bathroom door.

Jacob shook his head in disagreement. "Seth don't say that. She's your imprint. You two were destined to be together. You just need to tell her or it'll be too late. She already knows what imprints are. Just tell her before she falls for someone else and you miss your one chance."

"I can't. I'll just try forget about it." Seth shook his head and stood up then looked out the window.

Jacob was about to reply when Leila came out of the bathroom. She looked at both of them and noticed something was off. "Are you two alright?"

"Well-" Jacob began but Seth cut him off saying,

"We're fine. It's nothing. Let's just go now."

Leila shrugged knowing that they wouldn't tell her anything if she asked, so she just packed her dirty clothes away in a garbage bag, put them in her suitcase and zipped it up.

They all caught a Taxi to the airport and boarded the flight. Leila said they could just get economy this time. It was way cheaper and after all it was a much shorter flight. They sat down Leila sat at the window again then Jacob made Seth sit beside her in the middle while he sat on the edge.

Seth's P.O.V

Seth was annoyed that Jacob made him sit beside Leila. He was trying to get over her so it wouldn't hurt as much. But the truth was, he loved her. He was madly in love and wanted to be with her forever. He leaned over a bit. She was shorter than he was so his nose was in line with her hair. He breathed in deeply. She smelt so good. He smiled. Luckily she didn't notice.

The plane started down the runway and Seth looked out the window. Leila must have noticed he was watching so she moved her head so he could see. "Thanks." Seth spoke in her ear. The sun was just rising so it looked incredible.

Once they were in the air Seth sat back and closed his eyes. "Goodnight." He heard Leila laugh then looked at her with a fake shocked expression on his face. "What? I'm exhausted. It's been such a long day." She kept laughing and snorted as she tried to stop. Seth started laughing too. She was adorable.
