Breakfast Stop

Leila's P.O.V

Seth did end up falling asleep. His head ended up on Leila's shoulder and she smiled for the whole flight. She watched a couple movies but she was too distracted by Seth to really know what was happening in them. 

The flight went by so quickly. Leila kissed Seth's fore head gently while he was still sleeping. Jacob was watching a movie so he didn't notice.

The plane landed and Seth woke up. It was a pretty bumpy landing. He quickly took his head off Leila's shoulder and his face turned red. "Sorry."

Leila smiled. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. You kept me warm." She noticed he had some lip gloss on his forehead from where she kissed him. So cute! She thought then quickly wiped it off before someone noticed.

"What was it?"

"Um.. just food." She laughs it off. "Yeah."

Seth looked at the seat in front of him and smiled to himself. "K." 

They took their seat belts off and stood up to get off the plane. An elderly lady who was sitting behind them tapped Leila's shoulder. "You two are such a cute couple." She smiled at Seth and Leila.

"Oh um.. we're not a couple." Seth told her. The old lady looked confused. She obviously saw Leila kiss his head. She looked at Seth and asked,

"Um.. Seth can you help me get my bag from the compartment?" Seth grabbed her backpack then they eventually got off the plane, collected Leila's suitcase and walked to the car park. "You have a car here?"

"Yeah. It's just a rental." Jacob replied then they got to it and he put her suitcase in the boot. 

"That's not a rental. It's one of the Cullen's cars."

"No. It's just the same brand." He said, then quickly opened the front door for her to get in. So she wouldn't recognize the number plate.

Leila put her backpack at her feet then Seth got into the back seat. Jacob got in the front then off they went. Just a two hour drive and they'd be there. Leila thought about the car and the Cullen's one. They were exactly the same.

Seth's P.O.V

Seth realised Leila was really quiet so he spoke up and said, "Hey, Jake let's put some music on."

Jacob turned on the radio. Leila smiled and got distracted by the music. She started singing along and laughed as Jacob sung, really terribly, to it as well. Relief filled Seth's chest. He didn't want her to find out about where they were going. After a while Leila switched the radio off and burst into tears. 

"Leila. Just hold on.  We'll pull over in a bit for some food." Jacob said and Seth watched as he held her hand and squeezed it. A feeling of jealousy churned in his stomach. But it was stupid because Jacob didn't like her. He had Renesmee. Seth just wished Leila could be his already. He wished he could kiss her. It hurt Seth to see Leila crying.

Jacob pulled over at a McDonald's and he got out. Leila was still crying. Seth walked to her door and helped her out then pulled her in for a hug. She clutched onto him tightly and squeezed her eyes shut. She cried into his chest. Seth played with her hair and stepped from foot to foot swaying her gently. "Leila. You can do this. Jacob.. and I. We love you. You're our.. our friend. And we want you to be happy. I know you miss home. And I do to. But we're all in this together. And you won't regret coming." Seth looked at Jacob who prompted him to tell her about his feelings. But he shook his head. "Come on let's get something to eat." He put his hands on her shoulders and pushed her away then looked into her eyes. He smiled at her and wipes her tears.

"Thank you Seth." She put her hands on the sides of his face and kissed his cheek. "You.. You are my best friend."

Seth smiled. "Let's go in shall we." His voice cracked as spoke. Trying to hold back tears. We're just friends. I need to stop. Stop loving her. Stop looking at her lips all the time. Longing for her. It's probably so obvious. He forced a laugh at his voice crack, then they all walked into McDonald's. Jacob patted his back. 

"What do you two want?" Jacob asked.

"A Big Mac meal." Seth and Leila both asked at the same time.

"What drinks?"

Leila turned to Seth. "Ready. Say yours in 3.. 2.. 1-"

"Sprite." They both said then laughed.

"Okay. Eating in here? Or should we eat and drive?"

"Eat and drive. If that's alright. I'm so excited to find out where you two are taking me." Leila asked.

"Of course. You two can go back to the car if you want. I'll get the food." Jacob smiled.

Seth and Leila walked out to the car together.
