Blind date

A/N: Here is the promised YoshiMaru oneshot.

Yoshimoto(moto) POV

I had exactly no idea how I ended up in this situation. Y/N suggested that I should try blind dating but I certainly didn't expect this!

"Don't look at me like that. I'm suprised too."

"Things sure go weird whenever Y/N is involved huh."

He looked at me and asked "Are you seriously going to just go with the flow and just go on a date with a guy?"

I smirked at him and replied with "You certainly look like a beautiful young lady and it would be quite a waste if we just let go of this opportunity where we can set aside our differences and have a peaceful chat."

Well. In all actuality, I certainly didn't realize He was a guy until he started talking.  He took out a book and said "I'm not a girl despite my looks and to start a conversation, I quite like this book about the art of painting."

My, he has good taste. "It is good but I prefer the one about calligraphy."

"Really? Can you even do calligraphy?"

"I'm not that skilled but I believe it to be passed as average."

We started to chat about art all day long. I am happy with spending today with him. "Look, I really enjoyed today but I have to go. Lord Nobunaga would need me tomorrow." He bid me farewell before leaving. I stood up and went home.

Y/N stood by the gate and ran towards me when she spotted me. "So...How'd it go?" she started wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"It was fun. I don't mind doing it again with him."

.............

"WAAAAAA! I WAS RIGHT! YOSHIMOTO WOULD GO GAY!" then she dashed off to only the heavens knows where. I headed back to my room and pulled out a book and started reading.

A few moments later, I heard someone knock. I stood up and opened the door only to be greeted by Ranmaru's smile. "I had permission from Lord Nobunaga. He allowed me to stay with you for week. Let's have fun."

I smiled and he went inside my room. I definitely going to have fun this week.

*Back at Azuchi castle*

"Y/N bribed you didn't she?"

"Be quiet, Ieyasu. Hideyoshi might come in and take my candy."

"If all it takes is just candy to bribe you, I'll give you a mountain of candies to have you make Mitsunari stay away from me."

"That won't work. Your teamwork is quite great. You can't bribe me to seperate the both of you."
