-"HELP TO DO WHAT? Is that even possible?!"

-"No one's ever really gone. Everything is possible, I've witnessed it myself."

-"What exactly have you witnessed? You too have been brought back from the dead?", Finn gave little hysterical laugh.

-"Yes."

-"WHAT!!!?????! Rey you're alive. Is this some kind of Jedi mind trial!?"

-"No Finn. This is serious. You told me yourself, that you thought I died on Exegol. You were right. I did die."

-"It is not funny but.. well, I think people would have noticed, if Jedi could bring everyone back from the dead."

-"Not everyone, and not all Jedi." Rey looked at the slowly setting sun.

-"What do you mean?"

-"Lets go somewhere more secluded."

Rey and Finn walked to the edge of the forest and sat down on the forest floor overlooking the meadows.

Rey told Finn that she needs to bring back a Jedi thats dyad in Force with her. That dyad is form of bond that connects two force sensitive beings across the space and time. It could be said that they share a soul. In combat when two who was a dyad fought as one, their abilities mirrored and amplified one another. Rey told Finn that she had died on Exegol and what Finn felt then was true- she had been really gone for some time. Rey said that Jedi brought her back from the dead risking his own life and now she needed to repay the dept.

Rey told Finn everything she'd found out. How she'd searched Jedi texts and found about Grey Jedi and their knowledge that's partly stored in grey scrolls. How the scrolls could be found on Tuell and about the fact that planet is uninhabitable. She told Finn why she went to Mustafar for the Nightstone, how the stone could be used in cocktail to stay alive on Tuell.

Rey told Finn, what she read in one of the texts about grey scrolls, how it is only possible to bring back someone that's other part of your own soul- and how she has the feeling that it is possible only once and only if he haven't been rooted in Force plane after death. She told Finn, that she'd shot herself of the Force, because she couldn't allow the Jedi to root himself as Force ghost when/if visiting her. She wasn't completely sure about this but couldn't take the chance. How the easiest way was to stop feeling the Force to not come in contact. And how nothing of this seemed easy, but she taken the mission because she felt empty, as part of her soul was missing. Young Jedi Knight told Finn, how no-one knew about this, she haven't even talked with Luke about this, because she couldn't take the chance of Luke trying to stop her.

Rey was sure that this wasn't what a Jedi was supposed to do and that it will surely be hard and possibly deadly. She didn't even know what really where the Grey Jedi and any of details of bringing back the life. Maybe it needed awful deeds, maybe it was something that needed the knowledge and power of dark side. Rey wasn't sure of anything until she finds the grey scrolls, that theoretically should tell the details.

-"No matter what awaits us, I know you'll make the best choice. You're good, Rey! You are the Light! We are! And I will help you in any way I can to bring back part of your soul."

There was small smile creeping up on Reys face. Finn couldn't possibly understand everything about this mission and the Force, but he still chose to stand with her, to trust her. Rey felt confidence return. She never thought she will feel this, but it seemed so true- we are what our pupils grow beyond. And even yet Finn wasn't really her padawan yet, Rey knew that he will become magnificent.

-"You're great friend Finn, but never go into a mission blindly."

-"Yes, Rey. But this is not blindness, this is because I trust you know, what is the right thing to do. If we need to bring back some Jedi from death, I will go with you through the hell and back.."

-"I'm sure that's what we'll have to do," Rey smiled,: "but even so, I know this it is the right way!
I don't know what future awaits, but I feel like I've been drowning for a long time now. I have lost my breath in deep, deep water. Since it pulled me under the surface, there is only pain in the muddy dark place. I know that I can't stay in these deep shadows.
There is no Force, there is no belonging, there is only loneliness.
Before -when I was sinking like a stone, at least I knew I wasn't alone. But now there is only deep dark water and no breath inside me. Sometimes when I take a breath it feels as if only pain surrounds me.
And every time I ask for another day, for another chance..
I am sure that we must not be alone, for to be alone is to be full of fears and alarms. And that is a path to the dark side.
I have to find my breath, Finn. I have to. That is future for me.
From now on, Finn, every breath You take, every move You make, You must be in tune with the Force. 'Cause for now I cannot. In this trial you will have to be my eyes and ears in the vacuum that surrounds me. At least until I can allow the Force flow freely through me again."

Friends talked till black night. Stars came out, but Rey thought that sky felt colder without Ben somewhere, anywhere in galaxy. All of this time without him and without Force, she felt loneliness, then sometimes confidence was lost, sometimes even hope felt gone, but she never doubted what she needed to do. She'd made her mission to bring him back.

Do or do not. There is no try.
