10. Rise

-"We didn't really found scrolls, did we?" Finn was thinking loudly on the Falcon that was on standstill in the space near Tuell.

-"Oh, but we did!"

-"Wasn't there just the writings on the wall? You didn't bring anything back with you?"

-"There was only the text on the walls. But in the second level the text was written on the wall, that in the ends was shaped like a scroll. That's what we needed to find, I just understood the hint too directly."

-"So, whats next, friend?"

-"Now there is a plan to make, because of course it's not as easy as it could be. And I think I made the best choice in bringing you with me!"

-"Now that's something I completely agree with!" Finn laughed.

-"So, what we have to do is this.
I will have to go to another Grey Jedi temple in Kaala - it's planet in Outer Rim, let's look in the map" Rey turned on the galaxy's holo map."It's about 1300 parsecs from here."

-"Let me just check one thing in the computer.
Hmm it does seem that atmosphere is habitable. Nice, Rey, at last one normal planet!" Finn was relieved.

-"Good, than I don't have to worry about dying at first steps off the ship.
I have already correctly understood the first step - and that is to shut myself off the Force. That is actually the first trial or trail as it was written.
Second is the bringing back the life. In the temple on Kaala will be challenges of the past that have to be fulfilled and then the life can "rise".
Last trail is the fight. At the same place, there in exit of the temple."

-"It seems clear enough, then let's go!"

-"It's not that simple."

-"Why did I have the feeing of this.." Finn smiled.

Rey smiled in return. -"The life won't be brought back at the Grey Jedi temple. It will return in another sacred Grey Jedi place on Vanqor."

-"Isn't that the planet, where lives some kind of monsters... Gundheee... Gundhaaa.."

-"Gundarks, yeah, just searched the computer.
Look at the good side, you won't be bored.."

-"And that will be my job, to fight the gundarks." Finn didn't seemed so sure about the mission anymore. Both friends went to cockpit and put in Kaalas coordinates. Rey brought Falcon into the lightspeed.

-"No, definitely not. I will give you the saber and you'll take the blaster, you will have protection. Bring your Kyber with you too. But you will have to sneak past the creatures, if there will be any. The bad news is that they have heightened sense of hearing."

Finn laughed. "Ahha, haha.. Rey, that's the best I've heard in a long time." Finn was now laughing through tears. "I'm gonna die." The laughing stopped, and Finns face got serious. "I can't take the saber. It's your weapon."

-"You will take it, because it will serve you better than me. It was written that in the temple weapons are forbidden.
For you it could become quite handy. Just don't lose it!
We can find the sound amplifier and the life form scanner on Facon for you trip. It will be useful to hear the same as those gundarks."

-"Ok, I don't like it, but you're the captain."

-"Don't worry, very possible, that you won't even meet any gundark on the way."

-"It's not that. I don't think it's good idea to separate."

-"Look at this way. If you would wake up in the place filled with gundarks, would it really mattered that you just got your life back? Not really, if it was taken on spot."

-"It makes sense, I definitely would like someone to wait for me at the end of the light."

-"I don't think that's the best way to put it. It's more like beginning of the light."

Rey decided to take a quick nap, before leaving, so she made herself comfortable in captains quarters and fell asleep.

Rey had a dream. She was standing on Ahch-To next to Falcon, but at the same time she was in Bens quarters on star destroyer. She was looking at Ben and he was looking at her.
He was so beautiful with his messy black hair, brown eyes, full lips.. He stood tall all in simple black clothes- long dark boots, leather pants, shirt with long black sleeves. He looked at her just like when he asked for her hand. And then she wanted to take it..
-"Ben." Rey felt tears in her eyes. She knew this was a dream.
-"It hurts, Ben." And that was true. On and off when she took a breath she had this fleeing pain in her.. heart.. or soul, she couldn't decipher.
-"Tell me how to be in this world?!
The Jedi told me that I was supposed to be the light in the night. But I can't. Not without you... it hurts." Tears fell slowly one by one..
-"Tell me how to breathe in and feel no hurt?
Tell me how to believe in something?" Ben was just looking at Rey.
Rey cleaned tears that blurred the vision. She wanted to burn his image on her retinas, she wanted to see his face, she needed him in front of her all the time to remind for her goal. She needed him to be her strength, because she was crumbling down.

Rey woke up in tears. She cleaned herself as best as she could in front of the mirror, so Finn wouldn't notice and then went to cockpit.

Millennium Falcon came out from hyperspace. Finn and Rey watched the planet in front of them.

-"It doesn't look treacherous, but so didn't Tull and still it had Jedi cemetery."

-"Lets fly into the atmosphere. Take a quick look around." Rey guided the ship into atmosphere and took a flight high enough not to be spotted above the ground.

Half an hour later Rey saw, what she was looking for- a huge sign into the ground that was similar to the one in Ahch-To and Tuell temples. "I'll take the Falcon lover to see more clearly."

When they reached  hight about 30 meters from the ground, it was pretty clear that they had found the temple.

"The huge sign of Jedi in meditation- by light and dark accents surrounding it, is something that connects Grey Jedi to Jedi Order itself. I've seen it on Ahch-To, where stood the first Jedi temple and then in the Grey Jedi temple on Tuell."

They looked to their right and there stood an old structure, that must bave been temple. Looked like long time ago it had second level, but now there was only first, that was roofed over quite recently. Definitey not thousands of years ago. Someone was taking care of the temple.

Rey landed Falcon next to it. "Finn, you'll fly to Vanqor, find the largest city on the planet. To the east from it, you'll find the caves. You'll have to search for the right one. It was written that the star will guide the way. So look around in the night. Trust your feelings, Finn. The Force will guide you more than any clue I could give you. Meditate, if you feel like you'll need it.
I will complete the trials and when you'll meet the Jedi, tell him I'm choosing to take it now. He'll understand.
I saw a starship port in the city we last flew over, so you won't come back. Go straight to the neighbourhood planet Dara. It is as safe as you could hope for one to be in Outer Rim. If you'll have any injuries, then doctors could be found there and also basic starship parts. If anything go wrong. Hopefully everyone and the ship will be in perfect condition, when we'll meet again. I will hitch some ship from here and meet you there." Rey smiled.

-"I don't like to leave you here alone."

-"It is, as it was meant to happen." Rey hugged Finn tight. "May the Force be with you, friend!"

-"May the Force be with you too, Rey! Will see each other soon, friend." Finn let go of the hug and stepped up into the ship.

Rey saw Finn going into a cockpit and taking seat in the pilots chair. The engine started and Finn looked at Rey down on the planet of Kaala. "She looks so alone." Finn thought.

"Rise, Finn. Rise" Rey thought and Falcon took flight.
