"does everyone deserve love?"
. . .
"nope! not at all...heh" she smiled nervously, pulling the case behind her back
"i would appreciate it if you would just give me that" the man leant forward and attempted to snatch the case from her hand but she was fast enough to drag it away from him
"woah woah woah, calm down there. let's talk it out shall we?" hyejin flashed a smile, shuffling backwards in her hiding spot
"what do you want to talk about, pretty lady" his voice was sardonic and a shivering smile was plastered across his face
"i-i'm flattered but i believe this case...uhm, i-i cant give it to you" her grip fastened on the handle, a screw driver tightly clutched in her other
"i'm sorry, but you don't have a say" the guy sneered, grabbing the case from her hands but she was quick to smack him hard on the hand with a screw driver
"i can have a say if i want to dumbass" she pointed the screw driver at him like it was a sword of some sort. the guy chuckled, the pain washing out of his face almost immediately.
"feisty huh?" his face got closer to hers
"thanks, but i don't like to hear that from you" she pointed her screwdriver to his forehead and pushed it away from her
"well you mother-" he grabbed her by the throat, yanking her body forward, causing her grip to fall off the case. her oxygen quickly escaped from her lungs and her eyes squeezed shut, her mouth grasping for air. but luckily that was short lived when his hands released from her throat and his body dropped with a thud
she couldn't even look up to notice who it was as she was coughing too violently to open her eyes
"hyejin i will kill you" a familiar voice fell to her side
"stop, save that for when i'm not dying" hyejin opened her eyes to see chenle by her side, a gun in his hand
"we need to get out of here" chenle grabbed the case and shoved it into her chest, squirming out of the hideaway
chenle was greeted with 3 people armed with guns, all pointed at him and without even knowing, he grabbed her wrist and pushed her behind him
"awh chenle cares about me" she whispered behind his back
"not the time for that" chenle would've kicked her if he didn't have guns pointed at him
