Traveling. The worst part, and the best. We were going home. Headed in the right direction. But Ash and Larien continued onward and unawares that we traveled behind. They manuvered in multiple ways, leaving no true evidence of the pathway home, and we did the same. We lingered for time, only to move more quickly when we though of the others, those we had not seen in a while. We'd been gone so long. There was no hiding the truth now.
My abdomen was swollen to great proportions. Would it be girls, or boys, or both? I had so many questions...and no one to talk too? We made more headway in the travels home. We had no real idea of how much time we would have before the young ones arrived. And the zombies, they still came without mercy. We cleared then out and more arrived to take their places. It was frustrating. But we understood that it was a time consuming process. There were so many humans that had changed. The were still millions of us alive when the 3rd strain had hit. There were millions of zombies to kill! Nothing daunting in that statement.We moved forward. Home was calling and I was more than willing to answer that call...
