back and forth (damien haas)

~𝕊𝕖𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕥 𝕕𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘~

I woke up somewhat refreshed. Then everything from last night pours back into my head. I feel happier, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders but, at the same time anxiety poured into my head. How can I keep my feeling tucked away? I want to express everything and all my feelings to the world. I have to just be normal. I know Courtney is going to be somewhat suspicious. I hope I can keep myself together. "You ok, Sam?" Courtney says. I snap back to reality. "Yeah, fine!" I say. Ugh I can't lie, darn me. "Fine, I'll leave you alone." Courtney says leaving the room. She opens up the door again and says "not" then shuts it. I sigh and get on some clothes and go downstairs. Later we have to do the hot tub charades and I'm not looking forward to it. I know Damien's behind camera and he's going to have to see me in a bathing suit. On top of that it's going to be freezing. When I go downstairs I look to find Damien but, I don't see him around. I find Wes and I walk over to him. "Hey, uh have you seen Damien around?" I say trying not to sound too urgent. "He's getting ready," he responds. "Thanks, Wes." I say. I try walk away but Wes stops me. I turn to him and he mouths "I know" I walk back next to him. "Before I say anything else what do you know." I say whispering to him. Wes bends down a little and whispers. "Secret dating" he sings it a little and I laugh. "Ok, Wes I can trust you right?" I say. He nods. I smile and say "Thanks so much Wes." I give him a hug. "For what?" he says. "The people I used to know who were in your situation would be plotting how Damien dies right now but from my knowledge, you encouraged him to talk to me, thank you." I say quietly . "Oh, it's no big deal, Sam." Wes says. The he whispers "Samien sounds better then Ses." Wes says. I laugh and smile. "What about Wam?" I say. He laughs and just silently chants Samien as I walk away. Damien walks downstairs and smiles when I he makes eye contact with me. He whispers "Hey, secret girlfriend." I laugh. "So I'm at girlfriend status now?" I whisper. "If you want to." he whispers, laughing. "I'd be more than happy to be Damien Haas' girlfriend, " I whisper. "I'd be even happier to be Samantha Evan's boyfriend, if you can call me that." he whispers back. "I definitely call you that." I whispering, laughing. "I'm just being honest, if all these people weren't around I'd kiss you right now." he whispers right in my ear. I smile and a shiver goes down my spine. "How do I respond to that?" I whisper to him. "Maybe say, I would too?" he says. "Yeah, I probably should of said that, we had like a whole thing going there," I whisper. "I wish I could right now," I whisper to him. "Come up with a good flirt back?" he whispers. "No, kiss you, dummy," I say back. I see him smile.
~Courtney's PoV~
I know somethings up with Sam, I'm going to find out what it is. It could be something regarding Damien. Maybe. I'm not sure what has been happening with them lately. "Hey, Boze," I say. "Hey, Court." Boze answers. "I need your help, haven't you noticed Sam being a little weird lately?" I say. "Yeah, you're right. I think it's because of Damien." she says. "Yeah that's what I was thinking." I say. "Yeah right now it looks like it." Boze says gesturing to the staircase. Damien and Sam are standing up against the staircase, together. Sam just laughed and smiled while Damien is looking at her smiling. "Yeah, we're not gonna get an answer out of the two of them. We need if  anyone else has insight." I say. "Who's someone who knows them well enough." I ask Boze."I know Sam was talking to Wes earlier." Boze says. "Ok let's go ask." I say. Boze and I were about to interrogate Wes but Matt Raub called us to go over today because we leave tomorrow afternoon. We have to shoot the rest of games today except for the last challenge which is reserved for tomorrow morning. We have 2 hot tub episodes later and those always suck.
Oh no, now it's time for the hot tub truth or dare and also it's Sam's PoV now.
I had put on my bath suit and I am so not ready. I put my sweatshirt over it and some boots. I went out with Courtney to the hot tub, we ran outside to the hot tub because it was freezing. The episode started and I was so uncomfortable. The only thing that made me feel a little better was that I would catch Damien just staring at me. Then it was my turn, they got me to the middle and they yell truth or dare. "I think I wanna kinda switch it up and be original so I'm gonna go with DAREEE." I yell. "Ok, Sam at smoshlover_17592, DARE! Hold hands with the person to your right for the rest of the game!" Courtney finishes. I look to me right and see Wes. "OHHHHHH," everyone yells. "Wait is it SES?" Joven exclaims. "No, Wam!!" Mari says. "DO IT DO IT!" Everyone chants. Wes reluctantly takes my hand and I say, "I mean, the only way this," I pull up Wes' hand. "Would work is if I choose, IAN!" I yell. I take Ian's spot and Wes whispers, "Better me than someone who doesn't know," "Yeah, true," I whisper back. "I have an idea, let's just put our hands near each other, and not holding it," Wes says. I slowly let go of Wes' hand and set it next to his on the hot tub seat. Ian is halfway through his dare when Joven yells. "THEY AREN'T HOLDING HANDS! THEY ARE CHEATING!" I see Damien gives a look of sympathy to me and I smile. "CHEATERS!" Ian yells. "You guys should to keep your hands out of the water!" Courtney exclaims. Everyone agrees, so I take Wes' hand again. We set our hands on our knees and I mouth 'Sorry' to Damien, hoping no one sees. He shakes his head and mouths 'It's ok'. I smile and we continue on with the episode. It becomes Wes' turn. "How does this happen?" I ask. "Just stay holding his hand while he does his dare," Noah says. Wes gets his dare and I actually die inside. I have to hold his hand and sleep his butt the hardest? This just doesn't seem to be my day. It finally gets to me. "Do I have to hold his hand while slapping his butt?" I ask. "Yes," Joven replies, very quickly. "That's because you just want to see it, Joven!" I exclaim and everyone laughs. "But yes Sam you do it's the dare!" Courtney says. I sigh, I have one hand holding his and the other I slap his butt as hard as I can. "OWWWW!" Wes yells. "Thabt one got a lot of jiggle!" Joven exclaims, smiling. I laugh, sitting back down. "You are so creepy," I say, directed to Joven. The end of the episode arrives. They do the outro and I lift up our hands and finally let it go, finally. We all get up and sprint back around to the lodge, when the doors open a wall of heat hits me in the face. I run up to our room and change into pajamas. I head back down and spot Wes and Damien talking. I walk over to them and greet them. "Hey, guys!" I say. They both look over and smile. "Hi!" Wes exclaims. "We were just talking about the hot tub, and-" Damien says. "I'm so sorry," I say, then look down at my feet. Damien lifts up my chin and says, "No no! Sam, don't be sorry it's not your fault. I just felt really relieved that you guys even tried to not do it, even though you guys tried to CHEAT!". I laugh and give him a hug. "Ok, i'm gonna leave you guys alone now" Wes says walking away. I sit down on the stools behind us. "This feels familiar," Damien says. We both sit in the same seats we sat in the night prior. "Hey, Sam I have an idea,"
~Boze's PoV~
Courtney wanted me to go listen in on the conversation of Damien and Sam. They are sitting on the stools attached to the kitchen so I kneel on the follow of the kitchen and I can barely hear them. "Meet me here at like 12:30 tonight" Damien finishes. "Yeah, that sounds good." Sam says. I can hear them get up and move to talk around to the others. I subtly get up and walk over to Courtney and explain what's happening. "Great we'll be here at 12:30, ".
Its 12:27 now
~Sam's PoV~
I check my phone and decide to get up now. I head downstairs to find Damien sitting on his stool. "Hi," I say sitting down in my stool. "Hey, Sam," Damien says.
Meanwhile Boze and Courtney get up and sit in the staircase watching Damien and Sam.
I feel Damien rest his hand on mine. He uses his other hand and brings it up to my face, caressing my cheek. I lean in and kiss him and he keeps his hand steady on my cheek. I lift my hand and rest it on his shoulder. I hear a muffled sound. I can tell he heard it too because we both let go. "What was that? I say. "It's probably nothing," Damien says. "Ok, I guess so."
Meanwhile,
~Courtney's PoV~
Boze and I are waiting for something to happen. We can't barely hear what they say. Then all of a sudden Damien holds her hand. Woah. Then he starts touching her face. Wow, slow your roll buddy. I look to Boze, she looks as surprised as I do. I honestly wasn't expecting anything to happen. SAM IS LEANING IN- woah. THEY'RE KISSING NOW?? I gasp then cover my mouth. They hear, they definitely heard. Then they break apart and I cover our mouths with my hand. They talk for a brief moment before starting again. JESUS CHRIST. Boze and I slowly creep back to our room. We silently scream to each other, OMG THEY DID IT! "Should we tell anyone?" I ask Boze. She shakes her head, "We have to respect her privacy!". "Yeah, your right, secret?" We pinky promise and we go back to bed.
~Sam's PoV~
"Where were we?" Damien says taking my cheek in his hand. "I don't know, why don't you show me?" I say. Damien moves in closer to continue what Boze and Courtney had interrupted. This time it got more serious. I had put my hand on his neck while he held me face in his hands. I never wanted to stop. It was perfect. He bit my bottom lip and I giggled. I moved my hands to his waist and pulled him closer. We stayed like this for what seemed like forever. Damien then let go and said "It's 2:00am by the way. How much longer?" he said. "Like 20 more minutes." I say then grabbing his face.
About 30 minutes later, I let go and laid back on the couch. "It's been longer than 20 minutes, Sam," Damien says. "Yeah, I know," I say smiling. Damien laughs. He takes my hand and gets up. I follow him. He stops at his room. I give him a hug, and I leave him in the hallway going to my room. I open the door and tip toe into bed.
