The next morning my mind reset. I didn't want that with Wes, at least not right now. I drove myself to work this molting to try and clear my head and think about what I wanted with Tyler. On one hand Tyler is very sweet, and another he forcefully tried to kiss me.
"Hey, Sam!" Shayne says as I walk through the door.
"Hi," I say and brush him off. "Hey hey," he says and pulls my shoulder. "Is something wrong?" he asks. I sigh, "I don't know," I say. "You wanna talk about it?" Shayne asks. "Yeah, sure," I say. "What happened?" Shayne asks. "I came back home from something and I was really stressed, Wes gave me some good advice and we, uh," I say. "It's okay Sam," Shayne says. "We kissed and I don't know what to do!" I say. "Well first off, have you talked since then?" Shayne asks. "No,
I left by myself this morning," I say. "Okay, well you guys have to talk about it and how both of you were feeling," Shayne says. "Okay, thanks Shayne," I say and leave him there.
I walk into the office and sit down in my chair, Damien isn't there . "Hey, Wes can we talk for a second?" I whisper to him. "Yeah, I think I know what you wanna talk about," He whispers back, turning his chair to face me. "The, thing, yesterday, it didn't mean anything, right?" I ask. "Yeah, I think it was just the heat of the moment, we're good right?" He asks. "Yeah, just wanted to make sure we're fine, best friends?" I ask. "Best friends!" Wes says. I give him a side hug.
"Sam?" Damien barges in, yelling. "What's up?" I ask. "Follow me please," Damien grabs my arm and pulls me to the bathroom. "What the heck is wrong with you?" Damien aggressively asks. "What do you mean?" I ask and pull my arm out of his grip. "Don't play dumb, you know what you did is wrong!" Damien yells. "Damien, seriously, what?" I ask, now annoyed. "You kissed Wes! We broke up 3 weeks ago and have confirmed we are technically still together," Damien yells. "How did you know?" I ask, knowing he's very mad.
flashback!
I step out of the bathroom and see Shayne talking to Sam. I stand there for a second and over hear Sam. "I was really stressed, and Wes gave me good advice" she pans. "And we kissed," she says, I storm the other way.
"Damien! It meant nothing, I'm sorry!" I say. "How am I supposed to know it's nothing!" Damien exclaims. I sigh, "You can believe me or you can think I'm lying, It's your decision," I say. Damien sighs, "But, why?" he asks. I look up to him, "Why did you kiss him?" he asks. "I- I don't know, Damien." I say truthfully. Damien sighs and pushes the door to the bathroom open and leaves me there, fidgeting with my hands.
