"Sam?" I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to a familiar face. "Hi, Tyler! It's so nice to meet you in real life," I enthusiastically say. "Yeah cool" Tyler has a very different vibe from when we were texting, maybe he's shy? Tyler takes his phone out and laughs. "So, how are you?" I say, trying to start a conversation. "Yeah that's super cool," Tyler says, in deep trance, staring into his phone. I sigh, sinking back into my chair. Tyler brings the phone to his ear, "Hey! No, I'm not busy at all! How are you?" Tyler says to the other line. I sigh. "Okay, bye," Tyler hangs up. "So, how are you?" Tyler smiles at me. "Oh, um fine I guess," I say. "So, sorry, my mom, she's sick in the hospital," Tyler says. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" I reply, I shouldn't of been so harsh. "No, I was being annoying, i'm so sorry," Tyler says and reaches across the table to hold one of my hands. My face warms up, "Um, I had a great time," I say, getting into the passengers seat of his car so he can drive me home. "Me too," Tyler leans down and kisses me, on the lips. I pull away immediately, "Sorry, I'm just not rea-" Tyler straight ignores me and pulls my neck. "Tyler, I said," I say again. He tries once more before I cover my mouth with my jacket to block him. "Okay, okay, chill," Tyler says and steps on the gas, jerking me back. "How was it?" Wes asks as I walk in the door. "I- it was fine," I say and try to walk past him. "Sam, you know you can talk to me," Wes says. "Yeah," I say. "I know somethings up," Wes says. "Wes! I'm fine!" I say falling down on the couch purposely. "What's his name again?" Wes asks, sitting next to me. "Tyler," I say blankly. "Did he do something?" Wes asks. "I don't know, well he was on a call for the first 10 minutes but then said it was his mom in the hospital. Then he was really sorry and sweet about it. But! Then he tried to kiss me, I told him no, then he tried again twice!" I say folding my arms. "I say give him one more chance and if your still conflicted, it's not worth it," Wes says. I smile, "Thanks, Wes," I say. We share a moment, of looking into each other's eyes. Why? I guess, I was upset. I don't know why we did it but it happened. We did it. We kissed, not a quick one. A nice one
