Angel's POV:

As I laid in bed I thought about today. I'm going on a cruise!!! I smirked at myself. "Angel?" Mama called. "Ma'am?" I yelled. No answer. "Ma'am?" I called again. Still no answer. I got irritated and thrashed against the bed. "Fuck she want?!" I hissed. I got up and walked out my room and downstairs.

"Ma'am?" I said. She looked at me. I noticed she had her bags packed. "Where you going?" I asked. "With you on that cruise. Shit I could use a vacation." She said. "But parents can't come." I said. "Now they can." Kiana said, as she entered the room. I saw she had her suitcases too. "What?" I said.

"Jordan's parents, I think his Mom, sent out invitations saying family members can now come to the Luxury Experience cruise." She said. DAMN IT!! "Great." I said. Then I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Sophia and Chrystal. I squealed and hugged them. "Hey guys." I said. "Hey Angel." Sophia said.

"We thought we stop by before we head out to the docks." Chrystal said. "Uh Angel. Who are they?" Mama asked. "Oh. Mama these are my new friends, Sophia and Chrystal." I said, happily. "Hi. Nice to meet you." They both said. "Angel got friends? Finally." Mama said. I glared at her. "So Angel. Got time to spare?" Chrystal asked. I nodded.

I walked out the door and we walked down the driveway. "So this is where you live?" Sophia asked. I nodded. "Yep." I said, looking around. "Angel this place is dope." Chrystal said. "It's alright. I bet y'all's houses are even better." I said. "Yeah it is." Sophia said. Chrystal didn't say anything. "I can't believe you live here dude." She said.

"Yeah it's nice." I said. She scoffed. "Nice? Angel you live with a lake in front of your house, that's connected to the ocean." She said. "I wanna see your houses though." I said. She grew silent again. "Here's my house." Sophia said, holding up her phone. I gasped. "It's freakin huge." I said. "Ain't it? My dog loves to run around the fields." She said.

I looked at Chrystal. "What about yours Chrystal?" I asked. She frowned. "I live in a trailer." She said. It got quiet. I looked out at the ocean. "It's okay." I said. "No. It's not. I don't like talking about my house. I get embarrassed about where I live." She said. "Don't. Know where me and my family used to live? A trailer too. In the struggle. But you know what? Anyone can make it out of there." I said.

She looked at me. I nodded. "Anybody can make it out of a struggle. My Mom used to be a stripper. That's how she could afford to feed us and keep a roof over our heads. Now, my Mom is a successful lawyer. Anyone can make it Chrystal." I said. She smiled. "Thanks but my Mom nor my Dad is a lawyer." She said.

"What are they?" I asked. "They own aquariums. We're not exactly financially struggling but it's getting harder to keep up with our bills and our shop's bills. And there's this man who keeps hassling my parents to sell their property rights to Griffin Industries so he can help us." She said.

"So why don't they?" Sophia asked. "Because. My parents don't like selling out. We stick with our guns, even if it makes us look stupid. My Mom doesn't wanna sell out but our business is going under. If we don't do something, then we'll have to move away." She said. I looked at her. "Wow." I said.

"Yeah. My Mom finally caved in last week and told my Dad to let Griffin Industries take our property rights for our aquarium but my Dad doesn't wanna do it. That's why she managed to convince the boss of Griffin Industries, Jordan's Dad, to let parents come on the Luxury Experience with us. She's gonna try to talk him and sell our property rights." She finished.

"Is that what you want Chrystal? Do you want to sell out?" I asked, curiously. She stared out at the water. "All I know is that I don't want to move. I don't like selling out but I don't want my parents to move because we have no money." She said. It grew silent. The waves was the only sound. "Guys, it's 12:00." Sophia said. We looked at her.
