Jordan's POV:

"I can't believe it. We're were only trying to help." Jacob said, as we walked in my closet. I know but hopefully they'll turn around and come back." I said. "Dude they just got mad at us for trying to warn them about the full moon." He said. "Don't worry about it. And besides, can you believe it?! We're graduating!!" I said, excitedly. I looked over at him.

He sat down on the bed. "Yes!! I'm finally done being around fake ass people." He said. I laughed. "Yes!! My third block teacher was getting in my nerves." I said. I mocked his voice. "Yeah man!! He always stay giving out tests." Jacob said. I nodded. "So let's get to school and get this over with." I said. He nodded and left the room. I took off my clothes and changed into my cap and gown.

I heard a knock on my door. I looked over to see my parents standing there. "It's you're big night son." Dad said. "You excited?" Mom asked. I looked down at her stomach. It was getting bigger every day. I nodded. "I am but I am going to miss this place when I go off to college." I said. Mom came over and hugged me. I heard her sniff. I looked down at her.

I wiped her face. "Stop crying Mom." I said. "I can't help it. My baby boy is graduating and you'll be leaving for college in a month." She said. "I'm not a baby anymore. I gotta grow up." I said. She shook her head as more tears streamed down her face. I looked at Dad. He rolled his eyes. "Come on Jordan. The ceremony starts in fifteen." He said. We all walked downstairs and out the door.

We got in the car and drove off towards the school. As we drove, I thought about my life. So much has happened to me. We pulled up to the schoolhouse and got out. I could see the football field was full of people. I blew a breath. Big night. As we got closer, I could see Mia talking to her Mom. We walked up to her. "Hey Mia." I said.

She looked at me and smiled. "Hey. Well....we're here." She said. I nodded. "Yep." I said. I looked around. "Where's Jacob?" I asked. Before she could respond, we all heard a loud noise. We turned our heads to see the principal with a bullhorn. He announced that it was time to start. Me and Mia walked to the back along with all the other students.

I looked around and saw Jacob. He was pacing back and forth. I walked up to him. "What's up man?" I asked. He looked at me. "Man I'm nervous." He said. "Why? I thought you were happy you were graduating?" I asked. "I was! I mean I am. But still man. All of our lives happened here." He said. Then he looked around. "I'm gonna miss this place." He said. I looked around.

"Me too." I said. Mia came up to us. "Come on guys. We gotta get in line." She said. We lined up with all the other students. Then we all filed out onto the field. Everyone in the stands cheered for us. I smiled as I took in the sights. We were all seated and called up for our diplomas. "Next up we have....Angel Starlight!!" The principal said.

People clapped for Angel but she didn't stand up. We all looked around. I looked at Jacob and Mia. They also looked around. "Angel Starlight?" The principal called. I looked around again. Angel? Where is she? The principal cleared his throat. "Umm okay. We'll give her parents her diploma. Next up we have....Sophia." The principal said. We all clapped for her but again, there was no sign of her.

Then we got to Chrystal and again, there was no sign of her. I looked at Jacob and Mia and saw that they also had worried looks on their face. The principal went on and called more names. This isn't good. Suddenly, a flash of lightning struck the lights. Everyone screamed. Then we heard rumbling. No. It can't rain.
