Chapter 13: The Kiss

Angel's POV:
One Month Later*

"Angel let's go." Kiana said. "Bitch wait." I said. She walked in the room. "What are you doing?" Abs asked, irritably. "Tying my shoes." I said. As I finished my last shoe, I stood up. "Now we can go." I said. We walked out the room and downstairs. "I still can't believe your going on a double date." I said. "Bitch you know dudes can't stay away from a bad bitch like me." She said. I rolled my eyes. "I know one." I said.

She glared at me. "Fuck Ramon. He can eat a dick." She said. I laughed. "Well I'm going out with Sophia and Chrystal." I said. "Y'all been spending a lot of time together." She said. "Well they are my best friends." I said. She shrugged. "Whatever." She said, as she got in her car. I waved as she pulled out the driveway. I walked down the street and to the docks. I turned my head and saw Jordan. He was walking with Jacob. I looked around and saw Sophia and Chrystal.

They ran up to me. "Hey Angel. We were just about to come get you. Ready for our swim?" Sophia asked, smiling. "Yeah just let me go talk to Jordan." I said. They looked around. "About the kiss you guys had?" Chrystal asked. I nodded. "Yeah. I think I scared him off." I said. "Well you did say you pulled away." Chrystal said. "That's because he surprised me." I said. "Girl it's been a month and y'all having talked about it." She said.

"Because he doesn't like being around me since the kiss." I said. "Well now you can. There he is. Go talk to him." Sophia said. I nodded and turned around. I ran after Jordan and Jacob. I caught up with them when they were about to enter a barbershop. "Jordan hey." I said. They both looked at me. "Imma go....get my hair cut. See you inside Jordan." Jacob said, awkwardly.

He quickly walked inside the door. Jordan glared at him. "Jordan can we talk please?" I said. He looked at me. "What about?" He asked, irritably. "You know what....." I said. "Angel just forget it. It was a stupid kiss." He said. I stared at him. "I'm sorry I did it." He said. I nodded. "Wow. So it was a stupid kiss?" I said. He looked away. "Oh okay. Good to know I stand." I said, before I walked away. I ran over to the girls. "Well what happened?" Sophia asked.

"Apparently it was a stupid kiss." I said. I walked towards the end of the docks and I dove in the water. I felt my legs become tingly and numb and I saw my tail. I flicked it and took off swimming. Just a stupid kiss. I repeated Jordan's words in my head. I swam around til I decided to slow down and enjoy my swim. I looked behind me to see Sophia and Chrystal swimming behind me. I smiled at them.
