Chapter 20: My Plan Part One

Jordan's POV:

I looked over at Angel and Chrystal as they comforted Sophia. She just had a breakdown. I didn't understand why Angel and the girls had such a problem with Mia. But I witnessed first hand why. Mia literally attacked Sophia because she ate the last hot pocket. I paced back and forth, trying to think of way to confront her about this.

I looked at Jacob. He was upset about this too. I tapped him and we walked outside to talk. "Man what is up with her? Mia has been such a bitch lately. Why is she acting like this?" He asked. "I have no idea. Since she came back from her Aunt's, she's been different." I said. "But she's been over there so many times. Why is this time different?" I said.

He shrugged. "You know her aunt is into witchcraft and all that shit." He said. I sighed and put my back against the wall. "But Mia doesn't fall for that kind of stuff." I said. He looked at something past me. I turned around to see Mia. She walked up to us. "Hey. You've got a lot of explaining to do." I said. She nodded.

"I know." She said. "You've made Sophia have lots of breakdowns Mia. She hasn't been right for weeks. You know she's taken up therapy to cope?" Jacob said. Mia didn't say anything. We heard the door open. We looked behind us to see Angel. "Mia get the hell off my property. I don't want to see you anywhere near Sophia or us ever again." She said. Chrystal came into view along with Sophia.

Her face was still red from all her crying. "Look guys I know I messed up but there's a reason as to why." Mia said. "Do tell." I said. "I can't explain it right now." She said. "Try." Jacob said. "Look I found out something big. But we need to go to the Forbidden Island. Now." She said. "What for?" Chrystal asked.

"Like I said I can't explain it right now. We need to get to the Forbidden Island now. It's important." She said. "First you apologize to Sophia." Angel said. Mia glared at her. "Angel-" Chrystal cut her off. "No Mia apologize now." She said. Mia turned her attention to Sophia. "Sophia I'm sorry." She said. Something about her tone didn't sit right with me.

"Now what is it that you wanna show us?" Jacob asked. "The Forbidden Island. Let's go. I'll explain when we get there." She said. She turned around and ran off. She looked at us and motioned for us to follow. We all reluctantly did. We all ran to the docks and dove in the water. We followed Mia to the Forbidden Island.

But instead of us going to the moon pool, we went to the beach. We used our powers to dry off. I looked at Mia. "So what are we doing here?" Sophia asked. "Look I've been doing more research on that ghost girl from the house. Not only did she use witchcraft but she also had a moon ring." She said. "A what?" Chrystal said.

"A moon ring." She said, as she walked towards the woods. "And what is this moon ring?" Angel asked. "From what I read, it's like our powers, but magnified by a thousand." She said. "Whoa." Jacob said. "Yeah. Come on." Mia said. "Where are we going Mia?" I asked. "To the house. Apparently the ghost girl had the moon ring stashed away in the house." She said.

"And?" Chrystal said. "So I know I where it is." She said. Mia took off running towards the woods. "Mia wait!!!" I called. We all ran after her. It was about twenty minutes before we found the house. I looked it over before looking at Jacob. "I got a bad feeling about this." He whispered. "Me too." I said. We all bundled up together then walked in the house.

We were met by the ghost girl and her mother. "Hi." Angel said. They didn't say anything. Then the mother turned her attention to Mia, who was making her way upstairs. "Mia where are you going?" Sophia asked. Mia glared at her. "Mia I don't think they want us to go upstairs." Jacob said. Mia ignored us and ran upstairs. We followed her upstairs and to a room.

Mia was moving things around til she gasped. "There it is." She whispered. "Mia." I said. "Here it is!!" She said. She turned around and showed us a ring. Then the ghost girl shrieked. We all covered our ears. "Mia what did you do?!" I cried. She looked at me then smirked. "This is the moon ring I was telling you Gus about." She said. She held it up.

"So what? It's a ring. Put it back. I don't think the girl is happy your touching her stuff." Angel said. Mia cackled. "No way. This ring means I'm it." She said. "Mia what does this mean?! You're it?" I yelled. "IM ALL POWERFUL!!" Mia shouted. She then put on the ring and used it to sling us all backwards. We all hit the ground hard.

I looked up at her. She smirked at us. "This was all part of my plan." She said, smirking. "What plan?" Angel asked, angrily. Mia smirked. "You'll see." She said. Just then, the ghost girl and her mother began shrieking and lunged for Mia. But she only grinned.
