Angel Starlight is a normal girl who gets an opportunity to go on a yacht for a project. Angel meets two girls, who turn out to be the ones she's partnered with on her project. They go to the Forbidden Island and discover something magical.

"Can we go now Angel?" Chrystal asked. I knew what she was talking about. Chrystal wanted to go swimming before we all head off to work. Ever since, we became mermaids, we've been obsessed with swimming. "In a minute. I'm tryna find my phone." I said. "Is that it? Underneath your desk?" Sophia asked. I looked and saw it.
"It must've fallen off the table." I said. I reached for it but it moved. "Whoa." Chrystal said. I reached for it again and it moved away. "Does your phone not like you or something Angel!" Sophia said. "No that's -that's not me." I said. I looked down at my hand and positioned it a certain way. My phone moved again.
"Whoa." Chrystal said. "Angel. You just moved your phone....without touching it." Sophia said. "Guy....do we....have powers?" Chrystal asked. I looked at her. "No. Way." I said. She squealed. "Come on. Let's go see Jordan." She said. I used a towel to pick up my phone and put in my pocket.
We ran out of my house, down the street, and around the corner. We saw Jordan's parents outside in the front yards gardening. We ran up to them. "Hi!" I said. They looked at us. "Uh hi...Angel. Again we're sorry about leaving your girls stranded." Jordan's Mom said. "Oh don't worry about it. It's water under the bridge." I said.
"Hi Mrs. and Mr. Griffin. Is Jordan here?" Sophia asked. "Please call is Alison and Brian. And Jordan isn't here. He's out with Jacob and Mia. They said there were going to the beach." Brian said. "Thanks." I said. We quickly ran back out into town and towards the beach. We ran straight into the water and took off swimming.

We swam straight to the Forbidden Island. We swam into the cave and surfaced. We found Jordan, Mia, and Jacob. "Angel? What's up?" Jordan asked. "Umm so you know we came into recent development. Well I just made my phone move without me even touching it." I said.
"Oh so you guys got powers finally?" Mia said. "You guys got powers?" Chrystal asked. "Yep. We all do." Mia said. "So we got powers too?!" Chrystal asked, happily. "Yep. Have you guys ever tried heating thing, freezing things?" Jacob asked. We shook our heads. "No. We haven't done anything." I said. "Well you might wanna get started. You can't go anywhere in public moving stuff and doing stuff without any control." Mia said.
"Come on. Let's go to Jordan's house. We can practice there." Jordan said. We dove under and swam to the mainland. We crawled onshore and they dried off using their powers. "That's so cool." I said. About ten minutes later, me the girls dried off. We ran all the way to Jordan's house. His parents were still in the front yard.
We walked in his house and to the docks in his backyard. "Okay so what do we do first?" I asked, curiously. "First we're gonna start off with casting storms." Mia said. "Whoa Mia. Let's crawl before we walk. Let's start off basic." Jordan said. He walked over, grabbed a three glasses and filled them with water. "Okay. Now all three of you, focus all of your energy into the glass." He said.
