"How could you disregard your life so easily?" The High General of the Forest clan blurted out.
The child king of the Aeolian clan and the plant nymphe Ismene looked stunned at him. However, the earth nymphe Nemea smiled at Oisin. Her smile was so genuine that it radiated a sense of calmness.
"Why?" The High General of the Forest continued. "Why are so willing to sacrifice your life without a fight?" He said as his voice began to quiver.
The earth nymphe Nemea gracefully walked towards the High General of the Forest clan who by then had his head downcast as tears fall from his eyes on the ground. His arms were resting at the side of his body and his hands formed a fist out of frustration.
"Why?" He continued to say in a low and shaky voice. "Why?!"
Once, she was in front of the High General of the Forest clan, the earth nymphe Nemea spoke.
"High General," Her voice no longer sounded like a little girl.
Her voice was so soft and soothing.
"Isn't this what you must do?" Nemea said.
The child king of the Aeolian child was stunned by what she had said. He knew she was right. It was something that they must do. However, he did not think about how the nymphes would feel about sacrificing their own lives to stop the Darkness. Well, not in the way that the High General of the Forest clan was showing his concerns for the spirit of the earth before them. All the child king of the Aeolian clan knew was they had a mission to do and nothing else mattered.
The High General of the Forest clan's head remained downcast as tears continued to wet the ground where he stood.
"You are the High General of the Forest clan," Nemea'svoice, though, was still soft and soothing, it had become stern as well. "Cease your crying!"
