With a quick check with Lorelei that she'd make it home okay (Rook assured me she'd be taken care of, a comment that would have caused me concern, until I discovered he was stone-cold sober), Colson and I snuck out the rear exit to meet Marcus and head to the hotel where he was staying.

His mouth was on mine as soon as the car moved forward. He tugged my waist to lay me on the backseat and move over me. I twisted his hair in my fingers, enjoying the weight of his body on mine. His fingertips delicately ran along my collar bone, moving slowly to my shoulder and attempting to pull down the strap of my romper.

I stopped him as politely as I could. "Not here," I whispered. I turned toward our driver, feeling exposed. Was this something Colson did often?  But I pushed the worry away. I wanted to enjoy myself. I had never felt such excitement with another person before.

Colson didn't miss a beat, moving his hand now over the cup of my breast, squeezing longingly until he could move beneath the cloth. My nipples responded to the pressure, hardening. I wanted to rip the dreaded fabric of my clothes off myself, and feel the heat of his hands over me. His waist swayed forward between my legs, rubbing against me. I could feel him hardening beneath the denim of his pants. Wrapping my legs around him, I welcomed the motion of it. Ugh that feels so good. My mind was spinning with the tequila haze and thrill of rubbing up against the Colson Baker. His fist grasped my hair so he could turn my head to the side and nip at my neck. I moaned quietly, closing my eyes to savor his touch.

When I felt the car stop, I had to give Colson a firm push as the door opened behind us. "We're here," I informed him, his mouth continuing to kiss my neck, down to my collar leaving goosebumps in the wake of his lips. He growled playfully at the abrupt interruption and sat up, pulling me with him. I felt slightly dizzy, the reaction of my lips firmly curved at the whole experience.

The sign to the hotel read, 'Vinyl,' in white cursive writing and was lit with orange and green colored lights. A cute Korean restaurant was attached off to the right, and I made a mental note to return to check it out.

Colson stumbled a little as he stepped out of the car. I moved to help him but he brushed me off. "I'm fine, babe," he assured me and took my hand to lead the way.

"See ya later Marcus!" he called over to his driver. "Good looking out!"

I peered up at him puzzled by his comment, "Looking out for what?" I asked.

"He does a first run to a different hotel with a body double to lure the paparazzi there. Leaving me free to check into my actual hotel," he explained, nonchalantly.

I was surprised at his tone. Another normal-to-him situation, that was well, odd but brilliant.

"You bring a body double with you everywhere?" I asked as we neared the front lobby.

"To my shows where there's no meet and greets, mostly. Just that added layer of some personal space from the media, ya know? Otherwise, I feel like I have no control over my life at all."

I listened as he spoke, saddened that this was the way he had to live his life. Being famous seemed only superficially spectacular.

The interior of the hotel was unique. The walls were a shade of turquoise and covered in art and records. A long yellow couch made up most of the wall to the lobby. A couple of guys sat against it, chatting happily. Several of the glass panes that made up the front wall were colored in pink, green, and blue. It was funky to say the least. I instantly loved it.

Colson moved toward the front desk to check-in, his long legs taking wide strides. He leaned lazily onto the counter as he gave his name and in return was given a key. I curled a piece of hair behind my ears, feeling somewhat exposed standing alone in the lobby, slightly intoxicated by lust, curiosity and tequila. Turning back to me, Colson gave the card a wave to show me the process was complete and nodded his head toward the elevator.
