Kate grabbed a cab and went home. The last two days had been like a roller coaster for Kate and all she wanted to do now was to cuddle down with her little boy who wasn't there anymore. Ever since they took William from her it was like she was dead inside. He was only 4 years old but he was her everything, waking up to his smile was the perfect start of the day or when he said "mommy" for the first time that was the best day for Kate in a long time.

How could she do this to him? He must be so scared she hadn't seen him for so long and she wasn't aloud either.

Kate looked out of the window and saw that they were at her apartment so she paid and walked into the building. Mark the doorman said "hello" and Kate nodded back, she pressed the elevator down and while waiting for it she checked her phone.

*Pling* the elevator arrived and she stepped in.

Rick placed his computer on the coffee table and walked over to the kitchen to get some more coffee. He had been on the computer all day and soon Alexis and Martha would be home and he was still in his pajamas. He grabbed the refilled coffee cup and the computer and walked into the bedroom to change.

He logged in on the site again to see if anyone was up for a chat but no one was online. So he walked into the walking closet and grabbed a red shirt and some pants and got dressed.

Just as he walked out and was on his way into the bathroom he heard a *pling* from his computer.

He walked up to the bed and saw he had a new notice from Kbex41319.

"Hey.."

Rick was surprised that she had written back after she had left him last time but Rick thought about it and why not give this a shot.

"Hello, what's up?" Rick wrote.

He could see that she was writing so he didn't leave the computer.

When Kate had gotten inside of her apartment if was like she was a new person and it had only been one day since she had been here.

She walked up to the cabinet with the liquor in and grabbed as much bottles as she could and walked into the kitchen and poured everything out and walked into the bedroom and the bathroom and grabbed the bottles there too.

She wanted it gone all of it otherwise she wouldn't get anywhere and she would never get William back so when the liquor was gone she ordered a pizza and grabbed a bottle of water and the computer and sat in front of the TV while waiting for the pizza.

Kate stared up the computer and logged into the dating site that Lanie had shown her before; she saw that Applewritermonkey was online so she clicked on his profile and stopped herself.

"Kate what the hell are you doing?" Kate said to herself and placed the computer on the couch.

She wasn't supposed to do this!

"Kate you need to focus on William and nothing else!" Kate said to herself again.

But out of nowhere she typed in "hey..." and pressed send.

It didn't take long until she got a new message from Applewritermonkey.

Rick looked at clock and saw that it was almost 6pm and he had to make dinner before his little monster came home hungry as a beast. So he wrote:

"I'm sorry to say this after our little chat but my daughter comes home soon and I really need to make dinner before that but I really hope we can talk soon again Kbex."

He saw that she was writing.

"Oh, okey. I have to go too but yeah we can talk another time." Kate wrote.

Before logging out Rick wrote a short "bye" and placed the computer on the bed and walked out into the kitchen to make a delicious meal.

Kate place the computer on the coffee table and went to the door and got the pizza and tipped the pizza guy and shut the door and hurried back to the computer to see what Applewritermonkey had written.

"So you're a shy woman that is 31 years old?" He had written.

Kate smiled a little.

"Yes, that's correct and more than that you won't get, yet.." Kate wrote and teased him a bit.

Kate could feel a weird feeling inside when she had pressed send it was like she could really trust this guy.

When he had written back he said that he had to leave because his daughter was coming back soon.

So now she knew that he had a daughter too but Kate didn't care she had a son and he had daughter maybe they could be friends?

"Wow! Kate stop it you just started talking and you are already planning the future. Don't forget that it's William that you are fighting for" Kate said to herself and slapped herself mentally.

Kate placed the computer on the coffee table and grabbed a slice of pizza and started watching a movie on the TV.

Before the movie ended Kate had fallen asleep and it was only 8pm but she was tired after everything that had happened and this was only the beginning of her journey.
