Dean huffed as he sat in the backseat of his mom's old mini-van, tempted to pull out his headphones despite the fact that his mom had a strict no texting policy. Hannah had been annoying the hell out of him all weekend long, and Sam had been completely unhelpful. Usually, Sam was the one who would tell her to shut the hell up, but he was too happy about how things were going with Gabriel to even notice. Dean couldn't really blame him though, he was happy to see his little brother so happy. Especially with his best friend, since Dean still had no idea how Sam had ended up landing a nice guy like Gabriel.

Dean wasn't happy, however, that Hannah had been the angstiest bitch all weekend. She had started off by throwing a full-on hissy fit when their dad wouldn't let her wear what she wanted when they left. What she wanted to wear was thigh-high boots and an oversized T-shirt she claimed was a dress with the word Bitch in dripping white letters across her chest. Dean didn't think she could have picked a more accurate shirt/dress.

After that, she had then literally cried all night to their mom, who, in all her love and kindness, sat with her and mutually complained about John. Sam and Dean both locked themselves in their room and ignored the whole situation. The next day they had all gone to the movies, and while the original plan had been to watch the new Star Wars movie (both Sam and Dean were excited), Hannah had thrown another temper tantrum and had dragged them all to watch some romance movie Dean fell asleep during. Which, was actually saying a lot about how boring it was since Dean usually liked chick-flicks.

And then, worst of all, Hannah had told Mary that Michael had basically made her life hell. That he was a spoiled jerk who had taken over her space and who she was sure John liked more than her. And then she had cried about it for five minutes. Then, she had the audacity to say that he had turned her boyfriend gay. As if he was some sort of weird gay vampire who just bit people and turned them gay.

Dean had no regrets in calling his twin a selfish bitch who didn't realize all that Michael had been through and that she needed to shut her mouth for once in her life. And Castiel Novak wasn't even her boyfriend, she just made out with him a couple of times. And he might have said her bad kissing was probably what turned him gay.

Their mom, in all, hadn't been happy about it, which was probably why they were getting dropped off at their dad's a couple of hours earlier than usual. Dean wasn't overly surprised, considering their mom had a habit of bailing when things got tough.

Rebel_With_A_Cause: So...this weekend has practically been shit.

Dean stared at his phone. He had a strong feeling his friend wasn't exactly done talking.

Rebel_With_A_Cause: I don't want to weigh you down or whatever, but I'm feeling like I'm going to do something stupid, so I figured I'd just talk to you instead. You know, distract myself.

Shotgun_Shells_And_Car_Engines: Hey, my weekends been pretty crap too. And of course, you can talk to me. You know that. You can always talk to me.

Rebel_With_A_Cause: I know, I appreciate it.

Shotgun_Shells_And_Car_Engines: Family issues?

Rebel_With_A_Cause: Yup. My dad showed up apparently, got into it with my brother before disappearing again.

Shotgun_Shells_And_Car_Engines: How are you feeling about the whole thing? I'm really sorry, I know that must be rough.

"Dean, what happened to no phones in the car?" Hannah snapped from the front seat. Sam, meanwhile, was asleep in the seat next to Dean, which meant he was useless.

"I don't know, what happened to your common human decency? Oh, that's right, you never had any," Dean snarled back.

"Dean!" his mom cried from the front seat. "Seriously, why are you on your phone?"
