Hades
When I entered the kitchen, I found Stella sitting by the table, chatting with Lucinda about, nothing really. I kissed Stella on the top of her head and headed out of the kitchen.
"Shower time," Macaria said, before following me.
I shut the door after her.
"Dude, bring her!" she said, sticking her tongue playfully out at me before running off.
I opened the door and looked into the kitchen.
Stella was facing my direction.
"You coming?" I asked.
She leaned back against the chair. "Am I?" she challenged.
I narrowed my eyes and went back to the kitchen to pick Stella up.
She stood once I got near the chair.
Lucinda was following us with curious eyes, as we ran around the kitchen before storming out of the door and all the way up to my room.
I locked the door, capturing Stella against the door to the bathroom.
We were both breathing hard.
She laughed. "That was fun!"
"You're way too energetic." I mused and kissed her below her ear.
She shrugged. "I didn't even want to sleep today."
I pulled her back against my body, my arms around her waist.
Stella leaned back against me, I could almost see her smiling. "Shower time?"
"I'm coming," I said and opened the door to the bathroom. Without letting go of Stella I had her walking into the bathroom and shut the door with my foot.
Stella turned around in my arms and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Good day? Bad day?"
"Fine day," I responded and unbuttoned her deep green shirt.
"Can I please have more details?" I asked.
I sighed. "Right, so the last time I was on earth? I met people, obviously, but I just met the last of a family. Mot didn't have kids, and those who did, the kids died young."
"Oh snap," was Stella's response.
I nodded. "But they all died peacefully, not that it helps."
Stella's smile was sweet and gorgeous, and I kissed her.
"My day was good too," she whispered against my lips.
"How so?" I asked.
"I found Lucinda's letters, and Persephone has promised Lucinda that she'll talk to Zagreus. I just don't see it. Zagreus told me, he finds Lucinda too chatty. And like, he's a person! She can't decide that for him."
I brushed hair out of Stella's eyes, pushing the shirt off of her shoulders. "No, she can't. But she could just say it to make Lucinda tell her what we're doing? It's not even sure she's even talked to Zagreus. While I haven't been on the best terms with him, I have remedied what I could, and we have a good relationship. I see him as my equal, almost."
Stella smiled. "How does Persephone see Zagreus and Macaria?"
"As children," I said. "Melinoë not quite as much, but that's because they never talk."
Stella nodded and unbuttoned my pants. "Shower time, I'm getting hungry."
