Stella
His lips were warm, coaxing mine apart. I refused to hold him, though that was what I wanted.
Gently he pulled back. "You are no child," he said. He cupped my face in his hands. "But it infuriates me how you seem to want to disagree simply for the sake of disagreeing."
I bit my lip. "It would help if you didn't come home and be mad at me before you've even talked to me." I said. "I'll try to be more respectful."
"By not reading my letters?" he asked, eyebrow raised.
I smiled. "Nah, more like, I won't call you out on it."
He rolled his eyes and rested his forehead against mine. "Please, Stella, stay out of it."
"I'll try," I said. I almost meant it.
Before he had the chance to make me promise, a promise I would break, I lifted my face and grazed my lips against his.
He sighed into my touch. "Your bedroom is closest." He whispered.
"Yes, but your bed is bigger." I said and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He smiled, had me release him and grabbed my hand.
We ran up the stairs and into the hallway in which his bedroom was hidden.
The door was opened, lights on, and the door was shut behind us. Hades pressed me up against the door, his lips crashing on mine.
I pulled at his hair band, fisting my fingers in his soft hair.
He groaned into my mouth, caressing my tongue with his before abruptly pulling back.
"What?" I asked. My breathing was labored.
Hades put his hands underneath my thighs and lifted me. I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Then what?" I asked.
Hades smiled and carried me to the bed, where he gently put me down on the soft mattress. He followed suit, covering my body with his warmth.
"I did plan on kissing you again," he said. "If you let me."
"I'm not sure if you deserve to be kissed again after you just ended the previous kiss. It was a good kiss."
He smiled. "So you're about to torture yourself in order for me not to get a kiss?"
"Yes," I said, my fingers toying gently with his hair.
"What do you want, Stella?"
I bit my lip. "Honestly?"
He nodded.
"I want to ask you a million questions."
He untangled himself from me. We scooted back towards the headboard.
"Fire away," he sighed.
I moved so I could see his face. "When my body wakes up, how does that work?"
