That's a joke
"So, I know you don't exactly enjoy other people driving one of your cars, but." I was very confused in what June was talking about but when my eyes hit the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Dragon. I narrowed my eyes and slowly turned my head towards a smiling June.
She was holding the keys in her hands. "June, you did not."
"Oh, but I did." I run a hand across my face as she skips towards the driver seat. "Come on, get in. Your mother is making chili this week." June loves chili and my parents have grown accustom to American food so I usually have it when I come here.
"I do love ma's chili." I said to myself walking to the back of the car. Plopping my suitcase in the trunk, I saw a bag, gift bag. I picked it up and closed the truck. I walked to the passenger side and got in, June starter the car and we were off to my lovely house in New York, which was right outside of New York City. "So, what's this?" I asked June.
She looked over, "Oh, that's for you, Tetsuya. Your father said he wouldn't be home to welcome you due to an emergency at work this morning but he'll see you at dinner." I nodded and decided to open it. It was a small box, like you'd put an engagement ring in. Opening the box, I saw it. It was a silver chain necklace with a silver 2-D basketball. On the back it said, "Remember who you are".
I smiled at it, "Thanks dad." I whispered to myself while June jammed to the loudest music ever.
Note to self: get a best friend who doesn't listen to rock music every day.
Another song came on, our song came on. "OMG, Tetsuya, it's our song." June screamed. We both began jamming.
"BACK IN BLACK. I HIT THE SACK. I'VE BEEN GONE TO LONG I'M GLAD TO BE BACK." June and I practically screamed AC/DC's 'Back in Black' sing the entire drive. I actually got to let loose and show emotions for the first time in years.
June laughed, "That felt so good." We pulled onto my road. That's right, MY road. My parents named a bunch of roads after us and the family but our house is in MY road.
Tetsuya Street.
"Well, a few more miles of trees and gates, then you'll be home." June smiled at me still driving.
"You make it would like I live in a prison."
June rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I think your house is the exact opposite of a prison." Just then, the trees cleared revealing the place I dearly call home. "And here we are, the so called jail. All 14,065 squared feet of your jail." June joked. But she wasn't lying about the size.
My parents had a early-age crisis when they had my oldest brother and sister, they are not twins but are two years apart (sister is eldest), and they decided they wanted a large house to raise a family. So they bought this gorgeous house. Luckily everyone has their own bathrooms and don't share, besides my twin brothers whom also share a room. I look a lot like my dad, he has the blue hair gene and my blue eyes are from my mother. No other child in my family has blue hair and blue eyes. Not one out of the seven others have blue hair and blue eyes. My moms hair is blonde. "Blonde-haired, blue eyed girl" is what my dad always says.
My father, has grey-green eyes. The twins have blue eyes and have blonde hair. My oldest sister has blonde hair also, but she has grey eyes. The oldest boy has blue hair and green eyes. As for my younger brother and sister, they are opposites, one has blue hair with the right eye being blue and the other grey, while the other has blonde hair with the left eye blue and the right grey. Finally, my youngest brother, he's 5, he has blue hair and the greenest eyes of the family, I have the bluest.
