Interesting Matchup

The next day came around and I was already up due to someone with that name if Kaho and her trusty sidekick Tokiro. Like who the hell FaceTimes someone at 5 in the morning?

It's actually 5 back in New York and 6 in Japan, but still! Ogiwara woke up at 7 to get ready for school and he doesn't even leave until 8:00.

Of course Xzavier was a pain in the ass to wake up because he is not a morning person.

The reason I woke Xzavier up was because I told him we were walking with Ogiwara to his school, he groaned and rolled back to sleep after that. But I bribed him with going to the courts after paying for his breakfast somewhere.

"So, Ogiwara, is this school of yours fancy?" Xzavier asked yawning.

Ogiwara looked at him with an amused face. "Not really. I only chose this school because it was close to home. My parents don't have a lot of money but we get by, so I needed something cheap, close to home, and something simple."

"For his simple mind," I joked. Ogiwara started ranting to me how he was smart and not everyone was as smart as me while Xzavier and I kept laughing our asses off.

"Finally we're here. I can get away from your bullying." Ogiwara stomped off.

"Hey, Ogiwara," I called.

He turned back, "What?"

I gave a smile and so did Xzavier. Holding a thumbs up I said, "Crush it at practice. We'll play against you soon."

He smiled and in that instant his mood completely changed. "Whatever, losers. See ya! There are no courts near by so you'll have to walk a bit through town over into Kyoto. Ask for directions if you get lost, but you probably remember it when we took a cab home after the station in Kyoto," He laughed explaining somewhat of directions.

We waved and began walking. "So, should we catch a cab once in town?" I asked and Xzavier shrugged.

"I mean we could, but come on, if we spent money on a cab and somehow in some freaky way Kaho found out, we'd be done for."

"Fair point," Xzavier and I both had a sweat drip down the sides of our faces thinking about what Kaho would have in plan for us in the few days we get back. We were unprepared. "Walking it is." Xzavier nodded his head.

It was a pretty far walk to get into town but we knew it'd be even longer to find our way around.

It was already 10.

"God, where the heck can we find a stupid map or this place," Xzavier shouted and not many people understanding him.

"Excuse me," I asked someone random I just happened to be next to, they had a familiar figure for some reason.

"Yeah? Oh, it's you," the guy with black hair and getting eyelashes said. He had a pretty annoyed face on him.

I though long and hard, "Oh!"

Light bulb.

"You're from Rakuzan, I remember now."

He looked upset now and slouched pointing to himself, "You forgot who I was?" He looked like he had a tear.

"Uh," I said awkwardly and feeling guilty with the face he was giving, "Sorry."

"It's fine, whatever." He stood up straight now and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Kuroko, right?"

I nodded.

"Well since you don't remember and I don't remember telling you my name, I'm Mibuchi Reo."
