Something seemed to have click when Xzavier began guarding Thomas. Thomas seemed more serious and pissed off, however he looked very excited in his eyes. Suddenly, the atmosphere became more dense and filled with tension and determination. They were playing as if it were life or death.

I sighed as Xzavier was blocked by Thomas and Thomas was trying to score. It was basically a game for them now.

"God, your teammate is really annoying, why can't he give someone else the ball?" Some guy who was guarding me said. Their captain had switched to defending Kyo because I haven't really done much. However, two minutes left of this second quarter is when I clicked.

Mico went up to rebound a ball, however the other guys stayed on the floor for some reason that I didn't understand until it happened. They are losing by a bit right now, however when this guy from Birch came in with beads in his hear in cornrows and a smug look on his face, I began questioning his appearance on the court. Thomas, however, look underwhelmed and disgusted by the boy walking on the court. When Mico landed, his under thigh landed on the guy's knee and his other foot on the guy's foot causing him to fall in pain. I've seen that once, from another team, and I hated playing dirty.

I got so pissed off when Mico got carried off the court and that guy laughed it off as Louis glared at the guy. He had to only be a year younger than myself, but he was a piece of shit. Remo came on the court and stood next to me confused. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Remo," I began, "don't let him score."

He jumped slightly and sighed in amusement, "Of course, captain."

The game went on and I was in the zone for the rest of the game. "I don't believe it folks, the gap between the favorite this year, Birch Hill High and new school Juba Academy keeps getting bigger and bigger as Juba continues to score consecutively."

Birch Hill High was out of breath. Remo did what I told him. And Xzavier was stilled fired up, though him and Kyo were pissed at me.

Why?

I was winning our points competition by 20.

The final buzzer went off and it ended with our victory. When we shook hands and took Louis' hand and smiled, "You did pretty well out there, keeping up with me and all."

He rolled his eyes and chuckled, "Well, I guess I should considering I want to beat your ass one day."

Such a violent mind.

"So, this your last year?" I asked with a more serious face.

He sighed, "Yep, I guess so. Though I got an offer from a pretty good school. College will  be great, I'll see you again one day, until then, beat some ass." I laughed and we shook hands again. Everyone went off to the locker room.

(In the locker room)

"Where's Tetsuya?" Kaho asked.

Everyone looked around and shrugged.

(with Kuroko)

I was sitting outside while Kaho probably yelled at them for not knowing where I was. Though I was simple waiting for a single soul to walk out of that gym. A few minutes later of me staring at the sky, he did. "Thomas, you really need to cool it. It was our last game, he's leaving, so focus on the others leaving." i turn my head slightly to see a few members of BIrch walking with Thomas. I stared.

Thomas jumped lightly and shivered, then he spun around and made eye contact with me.

"I'll catch up with you guys later." Thomas said walking over to me. I looked back at the sky and watched the clouds. It was freezing, of course, however I was warm, still with the heat from by exercise, and wearing a coat.
