Friend and Foe
It's the day before we play an old friend, Thomas Williams. I'm beyond excited, especially since he hasn't seen me since I got back from Japan.
He probably doesn't even know I'm back at all.
At the moment, it's the end of the day and after practice where we all decided to go out to eat to get ready for our game tomorrow. We won't be attnedung school due to the fact the place where we are playing is literally 6 hours away from us. However I heard it's only 2 hours for the other team.
Lucky them.
I was standing outside of the restraint we were at, a little bit away staring into the sea. New York City at its finest hour, sunset. I was simply looking out into the sea when I heard shuffling behind me. I turn and look back to see Remo, Kyo, and Xzavier standing there with slight smiles. "Ready for tomorrow?" Xzavier asked and I scoffed.
"Who do you think I am? Of course." Xzavier and I laughed.
"I'm so excited!" Kyo squealed, "I get to play against Thomas again. I'm super excited. Man it's been forever since I've seen him, and modeling keeps me even busier." All four of us laughed and looked at one snother.
"Just a few more," Remo said.
"And then the team," Xzavier continued.
"Will finally," Kyo said.
"Be back together."
Silence overcame our smiling faces, however in our way back, Kyo asked a question I was unprepared for. "Wait. Where is coach at this time?"
I laughed nervously and Remo rolled his eyes, "He's coaching at another school right now."
"What school?" Kyo asked.
"Guess, where the De Jong relatives are."
Kyo's eyes sparkled. "So he's at Dusty and Summer's school?" All three of us nodded and Kyo kept his happy face. "That's so exciting."
We play at 4 today, and we all decided that we wanted to get there early to look around and get loosened up before our game. So we are actually leaving in 10 minutes, but Kyo and Mico aren't here yet.
"Every damn time," Xzavier said annoyed while basically in a sleeping position in his seat. We have a basketball bus, however it's much much much bigger than our team is. We only have what...7 people?
Maybe 6.
So yeah, we are a small team, but that's fine. It's only just the beginning for Juba Academy's basketball team.
"They have three minutes or I'm leaving their asses. I turned back and glared at my brother. He decided to take the day of form college, mostly because he didn't feel like going today, and drive us to the game. I rolled my eyes and stood and the last step of the bus waiting for them.
"Can they hurry up? I need my beauty sleep and Kyo is always so loud when he gets up this early." Kaho whined, again, skipping class for no reason.
"I know right."
"June?" We all said confused watching her emerge from a seat.
"Shit! I forgot we didn't leave yet."
"Hey babe," Tetsuji said like he knew she was going to be here. June waved up form the back of the bus and I rolled my eyes.
"Here!" I heard someone yell. Kyo and Mico were running towards the bus. Kyo looked absolutely energetic as always where Mico looked it of breath. I chuckled lightly and went back up the stairs of the bus to a seat across from Xzavier. Throughout the ride, I really don't remember much, but that's mostly because I was sleeping.
