Exam Day
It's been two months, two months since June and I went to the tournament in Miami, Florida. Let me tell you, my sister does not joke around with training.
"Kaho, I have school in three days, could I at least go in an finished my summer work?" I whined continuing to hold the plank position with her and Tad sitting on my back.
Kaho groaned, "Ugh, could you complain anymore? I'm trying to make you stronger, do you not want that? You'll be amaze-balls."
I laughed, which was a bad idea but oh well. "You've been hanging out with those cheerleaders in your school to much." Kaho hummed and Tad laughed.
"Kaho is a girly-girl!"
"And what wrong with that, Shi. I see nothing wrong with being a girly-girl." Kaho fought back calmly.
Tadashi was young but we didn't really understand that Kaho was arguing back so he never answered. "You know, Kaho. If you invite a boy over, I'm going to tell him how much you work out and boss people around."
Kaho gasped, "I do not boss people around, now stop talking and concentrate. You have two minutes left."
"I've been here for five minutes!" I yelled and hung my head.
"Head up!" Kaho demanded.
Luckily two minutes went by faster than I thought. All I was doing was lying in the floor, Kaho or Tadashi alone would've been fine on my back but both together was crazy. Thankfully she didn't get Kiki to come out like she did two weeks ago. Kiki didn't want to sit on my sweaty back but she did and helped my study for school coming up. I have to take the entrance exam tomorrow even though the Principal is family.
"Get up, Kiki is making dinner tonight to wish you good luck tomorrow." I instantly shot up and ran towards the house still sweaty. As I was just about to sit down at the table ready to eat Kiki's delicious meal, my mother stopped me from touching the seat.
"Uh uh uh, Tetsuya!" I stopped literally squatting over the seat I usually sit in. "Shower before you eat." I groaned and ran up stairs slipping out of my sweaty clothes, placing them in the hamper, and turning on the warm water in my shower. Once warm enough, I step in and take the fastest shower ever, but I actually washed every part of my body.
Turning off the water, I ran out of my bathroom pulling on black Adidas sweats, a hoodie, and clean basketball socks. I made sure to dry my hair a little with my towel, that I also threw in the hamper of dirty clothes.
In lightning flash time, I was back downstairs ready to eat. "My goodness, did you even turn on the shower or did you dump a bucket of water on your head?" My mother asked sort of joking.
I laughed, "What's the difference?" My entire family laughed. We simmered down and held hands to pray.
"My turn tonight." Kaho said.
"You did it last week!" Takoda complained standing up from his seat. "I second that," Tetsuji said rising up from his seat.
"Seriously, it's clearly my turn! I haven't gone since last month." Tait shouted. Of course, this is a Kuroko dinner. Always begins in an argument that takes three seconds to solve. My mother usually solves it, my dad already began eating.
