"How long till we get there?" Kim asked but Leo ignored the question.
"Are you going to respond or do we have to use one of these knives to open your ears?" Jacqueline said angrily.
"We're almost there." Leo replied calmly.
The 3 continued to follow him without uttering another word. It was dark now but the moon helped by sending some light beyond the tall trees their way.
Soon enough, they started hearing voices. Everyone started to move slowly and carefully. Chris had to hold a knife to Leo's waist so he wouldn't alert his gang.
"I see Marley... I see Marley..." Kim whispered.
Marley was tied around a tree in the exact same way they wanted to do Chris and there were 3 masked men just sitting around.
"Where are the rest?" Chris asked.
"Escaped or dead!" Leo replied with a smirk.
"We have to figure out a plan to get Marley out of there!" Chris whispered to the girls.
"I wouldn't bother if I were you!" Leo said. His voice was calm and without fear. "It's almost time!"
"Time for what?" Jacqueline asked inquisitively.
"Time for the blood fest!" Leo responded with a smile.
"What the hell is that?" Kim asked.
"It's an occasion we must celebrate every last day of the full moon to keep our bond impenetrable and our unity unbreakable."
"Guys, we have to do something fast before these psychos hurt Marley!" Kim whispered.
"The only way is to go out there and take them on head to head." Jacqueline said.
"A plan that's already failed before its execution." Leo said with a smile. "I'll tell you what... How about I assist you in exchange for my freedom?" Leo said as he slowly shifted his gaze to Chris.
"Right! Now you're going to help us attack your gang?" Chris asked sarcastically.
"Of course not! To attack my brothers is to attack myself. We are one! But I am grateful that you have spared my life up until this point. I am willing to set your friend free and give him a chance to escape while I distract my brothers." Leo said as he shifted his gaze back to the other side.
"I don't trust him! All he'll do is alert them to come get us." Jacqueline said.
"Doesn't seem to me like you have a better idea." Leo smiled. "Whether you choose to believe or not is up to you. There's little to no chance of you guys surviving tonight anyway!" He said casually. "The clock is ticking."
"Guys, this is our only shot. What do you say?" Chris asked the girls.
Jacqueline and Kim looked at each other then gave their approval. After Chris untied Leo, they all stood back looking at him, now completely under his mercy.
