Chapter 3

Imani's POV
For the last few weeks I have been avoiding Elena, Caroline , Bonnie and the rest of my friends. I had to because they knew how deep my connection was with Klaus and they were gonna ask me how to stop him or how to kill Elijah. Of course I knew all of the answers they were looking for. But I wasn't going to give it to them. I was at school and I had my next class which was history. I keep forgetting I have this class with Elena and Bonnie and Stefan. We sat down and they all looked at me. Bonnie wrote me a note. I got it and read it.

'Why are you avoiding us? Please we need your help. We miss you.'

I felt horrible but I ignored my feelings. I had to protect Elijah and Klaus . So I balled up the note and put it in my bag. I overheard that Damon and Stefan has Elijah in the basement of their house. I wanted to save him but I knew that if I did they we're gonna trace it right back to me and see me as a threat. Class was about to start. Of course Stefan had to sit next to me.

"What do you know about Klaus?" He asked me

"What makes me obliged to tell you anything?" I said

"Please. We need to know. We can't let him kill Elena." Stefan said

"I know but I can't let you kill Klaus." I said

"Please. I know you care about Elena."
"I do. But the Mikaelson family is more important to me. You think I want to be running for the rest of my life too? They have done too much for me."

"Excuse me but what's going on back there? You guys are distracting me" Alaric said

"Sorry Mr. Saltzman." I said smiling. He looked at me with disbelief

"Is everything ok Mr. Saltzman?" I asked him

"Yeah. Everything's ok." He said and he continued to talk about the 60's

"We'll talk later." I said

An hour later

After class was over I went up to Ric. Everyone was out of the class by this time.

"Hey Ric are you ok? You looked worried today." I said

Then all of a sudden he started making out with me. Although it was good I had to stop because he was a teacher.
"Alaric what are you doing?" I said

"You're a teacher and you're still with Jenna." I said

He didn't respond. I just ignored him and walked away. "That was really weird" I thought as I was walking away. I started to go to lunch since it was my lunch period. I grabbed my lunch and I sat at a table by myself and then Bonnie and Jeremy were arguing about something.

"Umm hello. You're distracting me from eating my lunch."
Then Elena came up to the table.

"Hey Jer. How are you doing. Are you ok at the house alone with John?" She asked him

"It's not ideal." He said

"You haven't heard from Jenna have you?" She asked him

When she said that. I thought of when Alaric kissed me. Should I tell Elena? Probably not. I heard Jenna's  going through enough and I don't want to cause her anymore stress.

"It looks like she's staying on campus." Jeremy said

"Look. I'm late for class." He said and he walked off

"What's going on?" Elena asked

"I told him he had to dress up tonight and he got all uptight." Bonnie lied

"Oh" Elena laughed

"Hey Elena. There you are. This is going to sound freaky but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight." A said to Elena
